Today was my first CM show... been to many Autographica's however. I have only one gripe... I arrived around 1130 today and intended to get Juliet Landau to sign something for one of my friends but when I got to her table just after noon she'd gone to lunch. She didn't come back until 230pm or so and when I went to her table the queue was crazy.... and sadly I had to leave as I couldn't wait any longer. I did however enjoy meeting Caroline Munro, James Cosmo, Jeremy Bulloch, Dirk Benedict and Georgia Moffett . I wish I'd had more time at the show to take in a few talks.... perhaps next time? If you're looking for a venue in Edinburgh you could do worse than Meadowbank Sports Centre/Stadium... they hold conventions there all the time.... or even better... at Ocean Terminal... plenty of "thru traffic" from the regular punters and its really close to the city centre.

Ed Mitchell has canceled his appearance at the last 3 shows so I don't see him coming back. Dick Gordon and Walt Cunningham.... possible but Borman, Anders, Stafford, Mattingly and Young? You'd get better odds getting all 6 numbers on the national lottery than having those gentlemen agree to attend a show!!

I have to agree... I met Caroline at last October's Autographica and she was SO friendly. I told her she was my first crush when as 7 year old I went to see "The Spy Who Loved Me" with my parents. She thought that was sweet .

He is known to be a long term sciatica sufferer. No fun sitting in a plane for 6 hours if he is going through a bad period with this. If that is the case, or if there is another health / family issue he earns my sympathy. If, on the otherhand, he has pulled out in favour of a stateside event, then the organisers should think twice about extending further invitations. When he was supposed to be at the last Autographica he was in fact at an event at the NASM in Washington DC

If memory serves me correctly Charlie has done 3 Autographica's; his first being at Coventry 2004. He's one of the nicest guys you could hope to meet.

IF he COULD be persuaded to attend I guarantee there'd be a flood of visitors from the USA attend the show. He would be a MEGA guest!!

Chances any of the above will attend ANY show (to sign) are remote to say the least. I would like to be proved wrong however.

I am so bummed out about the cancellation of the cosmonauts.... as I really was looking forward to meeting them. I know if guests cancel there isn't much that Dave and SM can do, I just hope that there are no further cancellations... and in particular from the Space guest line-up!

Are you a space collector? Have you attended a show where Dave Scott was signing? I'm sure the majority of the Space collectors going to the show will be very happy about Dave Scott attending. Maybe you'd rather he didn't attend at all?
