I've been supporting ME for over a decade, and this is my first experience of things going this wrong, but I'm really going to have to think before booking another which is a great shame as I've always loved their cons. Autograph for me, no question. I don't even consider photoshoots. (I hate having my photo taken unless I'm cosplaying at an event party (cos then it's not me) and it's the end of the night (cos, beer) but I'm really unphotogenic anyway, so no.)

I know what you mean about ignoring the bookies. Anyway, Capaldi's already been in it - wasn't he L. Caecilius Iucundus in Fires of Pompeii? And how great is it that Who now draws so many great cast that the first dozen or so names mentioned have all already been in it! I agree about an unknown as well - Matt Smith was just the same when he was cast and he's really made the role his own. If they go for a name, my money's on Ben Wishaw.

Seconded here. A few years ago I was at an event a few weeks after a bad ankle injury, so I was using a stick and the crew could not have been more helpful. You'll have no problems.
