    I remember over 20 years ago seeing him in Forbidden Planet for a book signing and I never heard anyone speak with such prestine english like him. 'Acting legend' is not a high enough compliment. RIP

    If you are keeping your etickets on your phone, I would recommend bringing a mobile charger with you so that it does not die on you when you need it the most! You can get them quite cheaply on Amazon. I don't leave the house without it! :)

    Everything that Alric said but if you are using your phone to take pictures I would recommend getting a portable charger with you. Also, you may be using your phone a lot for the scanning of etickets and the last thing you want is it to die on you! There are good deals for them on Amazon. I can't recommend them enough :)

    I always bring post it notes with my name or friend's name written in capital letters on it and stick it to the pic I want signed. Really does save time! :)

    I was a nervous wreck at my first con and mumbled! However, over the years I've grown far more confident. I just bring my hand out for a shake and say, "Hi, I'm Andy. Nice to meet you!" and take it from there. It is hard, however, to think of new questions that they haven't been asked a million times before. So I just ask them how their day is going. :)

    Getting there for 7:30 at the latest will get you some low VQ tickets. You will not be close to the front but it has worked for me every year :)

    If you're getting autos then head straight to the guests' signing tables to get a low number VQ ticket. After that you can just relax and do what you need to do until your VQ ticket number comes up :)
