Yes, you do seem angry, and unnecessarily so. Discussion should be able to be reasonable without you resorting to telling someone that they're "unequivocally wrong" - I find that a little arrogant and certainly rude. There's no need for it is there?

I'm not posting as a moderator. This has absolutely nothing to do with moderating. I'm posting as a fan, and I'm a little offended myself that you've chosen to be so rude in addressing me.

Firstly - "huge" comes down to personal opinion doesn't it. So if you disagree, that's fine. Just don't be rude about it.

Secondly - I'm not a 'naysayer,' I'm just being realistic. It's great to say we want this and that when it's someone else's money but SO many factors come into play when organising ANY convention.

Like I said, I admire your passion, as I have the same. Just because we have different opinions though, there's absolutely no need to resort to being as harsh and rude as you have been. That's the only problem here, and whether I'm posting as a moderator or a simple fan, I don't expect that from anyone. I'm always interested in discussing things with people, but not when they're like this.

Are you having a giraffe?!?!?! I can't mention the convention associated with Wrestlemania?!?!?!? It isn't exactly a competitor to SM in any way shape or form, especially when we have pretty much established during the course of this conversation that there is slim to no chance of any wrestling guests appearing at this show.

To make it fair and for it to be possible to enforce we have to make it a blanket ban and so the simple answer is, no organisation or event not affiliated with SM, no matter where it is. Showmasters have the right to decide if they wish for any other event or organisation to be advertised in anyway on their forum, whether it is a direct competitor or not.

Where do you draw the line??? I can talk about Wrestlemania, but only certain parts of it??? Can I talk about the SUperbowl? I'm pretty sure that A) Their players meet the fans and sign autographs over the course of the week & B ) SM will never have an NFL player appear at one of their shows!!! Can I talk about the time I bumped into Mark Owen in London? That wasn't associated with SM, but I still got his autograph. You should probably just ban me because I don't appreciate being censored for pointless reasons!!!

Things like book signings, premieres, theatre/plays, random bumping into (I have yet to experience that one   ) are fine. Just not other conventions.

the guys on here are just doing there job , and you know very well all the issues we have had over the years with other promoters , i have given them instructions and they do there very best to implment them for me , and that's just what they are trying to do , i knwo you and you know me but on here this is a place to promote the events we run and as so there are rules i hope you can see we have to all play along with the rules we have set out so that this forum works for what it was intended for .

so maybe we can move on from all this and all get along a bit better .

I remember Andrew "Test" Martin and Stacey Keilber were very popular when they came, and they were hardly the biggest stars in the business.


A couple of select performers advertised well could see a fairly large turn out.

If I'm not mistaken they are coming to the UK to tour WWE I mean but not until November, it can be viable to talk to whomever is concerned as some of the athletes i.e. Edge and Big Show may be willing to come as 1 has recently retired and the other is injured... It WILL draw a crowd as there are many fans, not the scale of CM fans but it will help to make this event grow, I'm not saying get lots of guests but one or two will definitely help to get this event to a major status
