Yeah, it's what I usually do. Any plans for your non con days?

Nothing settled yet, dinner with a friend one evening so far. Might look into theater.

Please forgive a northerner's ignorance, but would this impact on getting there from Victoria Station? If I go, it'll be an overnight bus from Newcastle after work, and I don't know London at all. I'm hoping I'll manage to find my way around.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mean to be a pest, but it's going to be my first time trying to get around London so I wanted to be sure

You're not being a pest Joey, don't worry, ask what you need to, that's what these threads are here for and we are all happy to answer any questions anyone has (within reason :whistling:)

I hope my Hemel Hempstead to Kensington Olympia will be okay.

When I put my journey from Bournemouth into the train company website, it automatically suggested changing at Clapham Junction rather than getting the tube from Waterloo. Might be good advice for others traveling from Dorset/Hampshire way.

To the best of my knowledge London Overground services are running all weekend calling at Olympia.

The line closures that are taking place on Sunday on the Overground are up in North East London and the services from Clapham Junction that head east towards Surrey Quays then up towards North East London. Anyone travelling from the south coast on Southern Trains or South West Trains should be fine to change at Clapham Junction for an Overground service to Olympia.

Southern is running their Milton Keynes to East Croydon service on Saturday that calls at Olympia but on Sunday is only running a very limited service from Clapham Junction to Shepherds Bush only.

Hope this helps.
