But the thought was honourable, I am sure RDA appreciated the gesture.

Ah no, it was just that he had a sign up at his table, so no honourable thoughts or gestures from here ;)

Will you be doing something like this for a guest this time?

I hadn't intended to for LFCC.  I'm slow at making them so I need to get some more ready in case I want to give them to any upcoming guests but I've got a micro dragon to finish first, then I have a micro Porg to make as well!  So it may be a while until I get around to making any more :D

Wow! You must have steady hands and patience like no other.

As a Time Team addict/superfan I am considering bringing a miniature replica of a beautiful rune stone which is very close to where I live to give to Sir Tony, I know he has a huge interest in history and vikings are a huge part of UK history. ^_^

You could give him cards and postcards but yeah, that was it.

At Sherlocked I gave all the guests tiny crochet roses in bottles that I made, I gave them knowing they would probably be thrown away but I like making them and hoped they might like them enough to keep them

You should! And tell us if/when you've decided on what :)

If I tried to make something they'd think my 6 year old did it so I will be sparing myself any embarrassment;)

It is the thought that counts. Does not have to be complicated, it will be from you to your fav guest.

@Chris1970 @Broo I thought maybe something for Jewel, something Firefly/Kaylee-ish. I had planned to do some embrodery and cross-stitch in the future, so maybe I'll make something like that.

And @Broo you could always say it was your 6 year old that made it, and the guest will be like "aww how cute". Then they said that to you about something you made ;)
