dogsoldierspoon
Started reading a couple of novels from the authors announced. So far I'm most excited about Derek Landy, the Skullduggery Pleasant book is just hilarious. I'm only a few chapters into Charlie Higson's the Enemy but it's an exciting and amazing read so far. Those would be my top 2 for the moment :)
OliCar
Skullduggery Pleasant book is just hilarious. Derek Landy is the only author I have read and I couldn't agree more, hilarious! I will have to pick up a Charlie Higson and have a read :)

Wondermoose
I would say Robert Rankin, as a person he is just wonderful. Bookwise, well I havent read that much of it, but the things I have read is nice :) Derek Landy, Ive read the first chapter of skullduggery pleasent, my intentions is to have read that book before the event. We will see. Non the less I will see perhaps 7-8 writers if time allows it. I havent read anything from them (except Robert Rankin) but Ive read about the books they have written and theese seems intresting enough :) Joe Abecrombie, James Brogden, Jonathan Stroud, Robert Rankin, Patrick Ness, Derek Landy, Paul Cornell, Edward Cox and Ben Aaronovitch I might or might not buy their books, but most likely I will. Good opportunity to get to know some new authors :) Edited June 24, 2014 by Wondermoose
