adriangill
Collectormania 1 was in May 2002. I have no idea if that was the first event by Showmasters though, as it was before my time.
Count Fooku
I can remember going to a small scale event in Reading back in the late 90s that was run by Showmasters although I didn't know it at the time. It was at a leisure centre and its fair to say the events have moved on somewhat since then. The only guest at the event was Jeremy Bulloch and the rest of it was dealer tables. I think though they had run similar sorts of events before that, so my guess would be that they started running events one way or another in about 1996/

I meant I don't know if they had an event prior to that, or if that was their first one Edited June 25, 2011 by 1of2
chrismk
I believe the first event was held at Woughton Campus in Milton Keynes in the early 90 (possibly even late 80s!)s. The first shows had no guests and were basically collectors fairs, filled with dealers.

Didn't realise events existed where you could meet so many great people from film and TV until CM4. Big thanks to Jason for running the best shows and for so many great experiences and opportunities.
