dufresne
I noticed this on MSN this morning. Some interesting (and controversial) choices. http://entertainment.uk.msn.com/tv/galleri...umentid=8189526
sazzra
Did Deal or No Deal ever have a plot to lose???
PsnowConeLawliet
I totally agree with Big Brother I have to admit. There's only so many times you can recycle a reality TV show. At this rate the same thing'll happen to The X Factor. On the other hand... Happy Days was class.
Austin Powers
On the other hand... Happy Days was class. I'll second that, as was The A-Team
WILLOW99
But A-Team Season 5 did go a little odd.
Austin Powers
But A-Team Season 5 did go a little odd. True. I don't know why they added the 5th guy to the Team, that was a stupid move.

And having them work for Lanley. Very strange. I think Frankie was a little too much like Face though
Austin Powers
On the other hand... Happy Days was class. I'll second that, as was The A-Team Ya gotta love Happy Days. Indeed. I can't get enough of Fonzie. I think if I were to ever meet Henry Winkler in real life, I'd end up being a starstruck mess, just standing there thinking "Holy s**t, Henry Winkler's talking to me." =S But A-Team Season 5 did go a little odd. True. I don't know why they added the 5th guy to the Team, that was a stupid move. And having them work for Lanley. Very strange. I think Frankie was a little too much like Face though One of the many things I love about the show though is Murdock & B.A's constant back & forth "arguing". Always makes me laugh

Austin Powers
I love the character of Murdoch and Dwight Schults is really nice to meet aswell I absolutely love Murdoch too. He's my favourite A-Team character I too have met the awesomness that is Dwight Schultz, and you are right, he is a really nice guy. Him and the Face-man were the first celebrities I've ever met, and I honestly couldn't have been more starstruck. The entire time meeting Dwight, I was stood there the whole time like , all the while thinking "Holy crap, I'm talking to Murdock!!"

Shaggy
On the other hand... Happy Days was class. I'll second that, as was The A-Team Ya gotta love Happy Days. You do realise that the popular phrase for a show that's lost it is due to Happy Days getting the Fonz to perform an act that was purely for ratings, this was to Jump a shark hence shows now have Jumping the Shark moments. (Using the above examples it would be when the 5th member was introduced to the A Team). However I recently found a phrase for a show that either started poorly and got better or lost it but got better, normally due to a change in cast/crew. This is 'Growing the beard' a reference to Star Trek TNG which got better after Riker grew a beard.
KrazyKid197
You've Been Framed? Disagreeing with that one, it's still classic. And IMO much better now they've cut out the annoying studio bits and just have the clips. *g*
Avengers7
The X Factor has just lost the plot as far as I'm concerned. Have just heard Westlife singing a soft rock song very badly - it was appalling. Listen to the original by Daughtry, its much much better.
Moderators DavidB Posted October 25, 2009 Moderators Share Posted October 25, 2009 Well I don't think The X Factor made them do it ..
Laurenx
I don't watch The X Factor anymore. I watched the first 3 seasons but gave up after them. And I agree about the new Westlife song - I much prefer the Daughtry version. Daughtry is amazing.
Count Fooku
Have just heard Westlife singing a soft rock song very badly - it was appalling. Westlife singing a cover version badly? I really can't imagine that ever happening!
Avengers7
And if that was bad enough, Katherine Jenkins singing Bring me to Life!!! Stick with the Evanesance version its much better. Edited October 26, 2009 by reddragon
