CharmedOne Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I'm erm...slightly older than that and I was pretty nervous about coming alone...until I joined this forum and got chatting to a few people who have promised not to leave me sitting alone in the corner - and dicovering there were others my age also coming alone!! Now...I'm really looking forward to it (with a little apprehension still) and it's the only thing making me smile right now - life has been somewhat sucky of late and I need the escapism!! Am also hoping to make some new friends....because mine have all disapeared lately...*sigh* I'm sure it will be a great weekend!! Am just hoping with my current run of luck that nothing goes wrong for me now!! Basically, I am a mum, I have a teenager, if you are alone, feeling homesick, have any problems, I can always be a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen. I know being away from home for a whole weekend can make you feel apprehensive especially when there are so many females fans under one roof. Personally the nervous excitement is getting to me too, but I know a lot of people who are going and I have made sure that by joining forums like this one and others.
