Dumb question. Does anyone know if I need a physical copy of their book to get an autograph from an author, or would they sign something else (such as a photo, piece of paper or DVD of one of their books that became a movie?) Because, there is an author's autograph I would like, then realised I only had their books on my kindle and really don't want to have to buy it again.

Just checking, prop only photo shoots are available to non diamond ticket holders, right? Also, never having done a prop shoot, so I need to get a ticket before or do I just walk up to the shoot and pay there? Thanks.

I only went to meet 2 guests, but they were both awesome! Brian Krause was amazing - so friendly and chatty and got up for a photo with me at the table without me even asking him :) And good lord does the man squeeze you to death! And then later in the photo shoot he remembered me and I got a huge hug :) Holly Marie Combs was a sweetheart. Rather quiet, but I think she was tired and I didn't get to chat to her much as they were trying to get through as many autographs as they could, but she was very sweet and so beautiful!!

I don't know her name, but the crew member who was sat at the table with Brian Krause, for taking my photo of me and him (and managing to get a decent pic on my blackberry after my camera decided not to work earlier in the day!)...I don't think I remembered to thank her, sorry! Thank you! Also, the female crew member at the afternoon Holly shoot for getting me into the line quicker, with no hassle, since it clashed with my Brian photo shoot. Thanks! Overall though, I had no issues at all with any crew I spoke to or came into contact with this time - all were friendly and helpful at what must have been a stressful day! :)

Would love it if Richelle Mead could come back, I never met her last time because I hadn't read her books, so I wasn't bothered. Shortly after I started reading them and have since been totally obsessed with Rose and Dimitri and totally regret not meeting her!! I want to tell her how much I identify with Rose and how her books had me in floods of tears on a full train!! Please?!?!

Although it might be the final full weekend Twilight convention....I am pretty sure that ME/Showmasters will get Twilight guests to attend the likes of LFCC or Collectormania (is that still going?) There will still be chances to meet Twilight cast members in the future I am sure...

They did a DVD of the very first one and it was awesome! (though I think it cost more to produce than what they sold, which is why they never did another one and it must be a legal nightmare!) But yes, a best of DVD would be a great way to remember the fun we all had the last few years at the cons...*sob* also agree we shall need tissues.....the end of an era....

How is anyone booking rooms with the con rate? Is the old code still working for Oct? I just tried and it's not having it at all....

A quick query... I have a standard ticket for myself and a child's ticket for my niece. I have my letter and everything. I'm just wondering, will I need ID for my niece as well? Because I'm not sure if she has anything. Also, in the past a debit/credit card has been fine for my ID, but the letter said preferably with a photo, I only have my passport which is out of date, will that be okay or not?! Thanks...

If there's no 100 Monkeys played, I will be dancing in my room to my own music! I NEED my Monkey boys!!! (I also miss them muchly )

Not bothered about the karaoke myself, but PLEASE for the love of all that's holy, can the DJ get hold of some 100 Monkeys tracks?! He has all the music on a laptop anyways, right? Their music can easily be bought (cheaply) off itunes!!

So...I have a hotel room booked, I now have the Monday off work booked...and yet I still don't have a ticket A new cool guest announcement might totally sway me (even though my niece is begging me to take her to meet Booboo and I may well cave in soon!) Being fair though, often times at these events, Showmasters have pulled the best (in my opinion) guests out of the bag at the last minute! (ET2 - Rachelle, ET3 - Jamie) so...there's time! I hope!!

Hey…I hope it’s okay for me to post this here. (and I hope I didn't excite everyone with thinking he has been announced as a guest....sorry if I did!) A fan on Twitter is trying to compile a fan book for Jackson, which she intends to give him during the 100 Monkeys UK tour in December (some tickets for some dates still available by the way!). Unfortunately she is finding it hard to get people to participate, so I offered to help spread the word. Basically she needs fans to send in poems, messages, drawings, photos etc etc, anything suitable for a fan book and no more than 20x20cm. And she needs these by Nov 10th so as she has time to put it all together. So far she only has 5 items (inc 2 from me) that I know of and I know Jackson has many, many more fans than that!
