BrandinsChick Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 My ULTIMATE guest would of course be Miranda Otto as I am now desperate to get my daughter Eowyn to meet her before she gets to big for me to manipulate. Eowyn not Miranda lol. Of course there are loads of the "usual suspects" that make for a good convention but maybe we should try and aim for guests that haven't yet appeared at a con over here? Ngila would be an excellent panalist as many of the attendee's over her that go to Lord of the Rings conventions are very much into costume making and designing (Lady T are you in with me on this???) and I personally think that she herself would find it fasinating to see the different aray of costumes that Joe Public have made. This worked particularly well with Julia in past years, and I know she loved seeing different interpretations of various dominions. David Wenham is a must have too - I need him to complete the "family" album! Lisa x I am definately in on that one chicky. Just took me a while to reply! So busy processing pensions! I am actually working on my costume for this years another show (yes! We will be there!!) at the moment, it's Eowyn's funeral ensemble. Hope you and the family are ok!! In Germany?!!! That`s no problem at all, most people working at the convention are speaking English and more or less the whole programm will be held in English, except of the lectures. Stupid work have told me I don't think I can have time off so close to xmas if Im changing my job which is looing likely. It's our first another show and I am telling you now, I am super excited. Less than 10 weeks to go! I bought a German CD last week so I am in th process of learning some words and phrases.
