celebrityfan
He's an amazing actor and really funny in 'A Knight's Tale' and '28 Days', so I was wondering whether he's more of a: William Shatner guy (NO PHOTOS!!), John Rhys-Davies guy (no posed photos) Lawrence Makoare kind of guy (photos galore!). Can anyone help? Thanks!
Jola
I'm assuming that until the event itself we won't know for sure.
Colonel Jack O'Neill
This is an impossible question to answer before the event because there are many factors which can determine whether or not a guest allows photos. Example, you have listed John Rhys-Davies as no posed photos yet I got a posed photo with him at C4.
Moderators DavidB Posted February 22, 2006 Moderators Share Posted February 22, 2006 I would guess it'll depend on how busy he is, and you can't tell until the event, although it's a longer event so maybe it'd be ok on a quieter day depending on when he attends! :)
SerbianJanet
Alan is SO lovely and friendly, and is definitely not a William Shatner type personality-wise, but like other people've said, you can't just assume that if Alan's happy for it, it'll happen, there are other factors depending on how busy he is and all of that kind of thing :) If there were time for photos with absolutely everyone (which there clearly isn't!), Alan would do it, I'm sure! Crostini
well maybe someone that went to the Florida convention will be able to tell us.
Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted February 24, 2006 Showmasters Admin Share Posted February 24, 2006 He did do posed photos in Florida but that is no guarantee he will at C9. I can see him being even more busy in the UK than he was in the US.

Colonel Jack O'Neill
My advise is to do what I always do when going to these events, assume you wont get anything more than an autograph, that way if you get a personalised auto or a posed photo its a bonus. ptenbob
If you want the advice of the guy who's job it generally is to tell people that they can't have posed photos.... Get your ticket early, and wait untill as late as you can before you meet the guest - the later in the day, the bigger the chances that you'll be able to get a pic. Just like everything in life - this isn't in any way a guarantee - it's just a little more likely than seeing a guest at 11am and expecting one.
