Moderators Dave Phillips Posted October 13, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2005 Hello everyone We have had such a big demand for tickets that we have decided to send them all out to avoid a long queue on the door. Beginning today all your advance tickets are being sent out to you. This will include all gold pass orders. Dave Phillips

Tiggs
That's cool. What happens to the "low numbered VQ tickets" that we are also supposed to pick up on the door when were picking up the gold tickets? Will it work like collectormania where we, as gold ticket holders, won't need a ticket and can join any virtual queue? Just wondering! I bought a gold ticket mainly to guarantee I would be able to meet Buzz and Ursula I hope this is still the case.

Moderators Dave Phillips Posted October 14, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted October 14, 2005 Hello everyone Let,s clear up this one. Gold pass holders will be given their virtual queue tickets as they come into the show. On saturday you are in one full hour before everyone else, and on sunday a half hour ahead of ticket holders. the_grapher
Hi Dave, Â That only works if you manage to arrive 1 hour before the show. I have a gold pass but am travelling down from Newcastle, about a 5 hour journey on the Saturday morning, and probably won't get there till about 10am. So will miss the early opening. Â I thought that along with the Gold pass you were guarenteed a low virtual queue ticket i.e. they were issued with the ticket? As otherwise there is no benefit of me having a gold ticket if I don't get the low VQ ticket numbers. Â Could you please clarify this for me. Â Cheers, Â Adam

MSPG Autographs
Hi Dave, That only works if you manage to arrive 1 hour before the show. I have a gold pass but am travelling down from Newcastle, about a 5 hour journey on the Saturday morning, and probably won't get there till about 10am. So will miss the early opening.  I thought that along with the Gold pass you were guarenteed a low virtual queue ticket i.e. they were issued with the ticket? As otherwise there is no benefit of me having a gold ticket if I don't get the low VQ ticket numbers.  Could you please clarify this for me.  Cheers,  Adam 883337  I would have thought that Dave and Garry have this covered. For example if they know they have sold 50 gold tickets on friday then they will keep 50 early VQT's to cover each one sold. I agree that it does need clarification. dufresne
otherwise there is no benefit of me having a gold ticket if I don't get the low VQ ticket numbers. 883337 Â Â Am I missing something ? Don't the gold passes offer EARLY ADMISSION ?? If you choose not to avail of that, it's hardly D&G's problem or fault ..... The VQTs are first time policies for autographica. The fact that you get a "low number" is by the by IMO .....
Tiggs
I don't think it is "by the by". The gold pass tickets were advertised as providing, not only early admission, but also a low VQ ticket. It also says on the website they cannot guarantee that you will get to meet Buzz unless you have a gold or Diamond pass. I think if they are selling these tickets based on these benefits, they should be adhered to. I am not saying they are not adhering to them, it just isn't clear at the moment. Moderators Dave Phillips Posted October 15, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2005 Good morning everyone O.K Let's clear this one up also. Even if you arrive late for Autographica with a Gold pass you will still get your low number virtual queue ticket. We have 250 gold passes so even if you arrive late the first 250 are reserved for you anyway. This means that if we are dealing with numbers 500-600 for example at the time you arrive, you will join that queue and still be ahead of the next batch. If anyone has specific queries or worries about their tickets please call me on 01959-573-792. Dave Phillips

SunSpeed
It sounds just like the same number of people who go to a Collectormania will be going to Autographica.
lams9999
OK, probably a silly question as it has maybe been asked before (probably). I was planning to attend only on saturday (and so order a ticket at £15) but things have changed recently and I will attend only two events in London during that WE (instead of 3 initially). So, my question is : if I buy a gold pass (priced at £35 if I'm correct), can I join the virtual queues quickly on both days ? If this is the case, I may spend a couple of hours at Autographica on both days and collect more autographs.  Edit : ok, I have found the answer to this question (I shouldn't become so lazy):  A gold pass will give you unlimited entry for all 3 days, + early admission of at least 1 hour earlier than the above times on Saturday and 30 mins earlier on Friday and Sunday), + admission to the drinks reception on Saturday evening (smart dress only please, jacket and tie), + 2 low number Virtual Queue tickets for Buzz Aldrin and Ursula Andress,+ £50 to spend in the ‘Casino Royale’+ you won’t have to queue to get in!  That is interesting as now I could try to collect Ursula's autograph And since I have already a cocktail party on friday, I could also attend the drink reception on saturday evening. What are the hours ?  And what are those £50 to spend in the Casino Royale ?  Dave, I'm living in Belgium : is it still okay if I order a gold pass tomorrow ? Will you be able to send it to me or will I have to collect it at the door ? Edited October 19, 2005 by lams9999
