This was quite tough...so many great performances to choose from! It ended up being a close contest between Lee, Dourif and Hill!

 

Of course I had to go with Bernard in the end! He was just amazing as Theoden!

*whacks head on wall* THAT'S who I was trying to remember! I was doing the first one and then realised I only had 10 options - and when I wrote the second one, I totally forgot to put Andy back on the list! D'OH! He's good too!

I really liked Cate as Galadrieal. But I would agree with my father (who is a devout fan of Tolkien) that Hugo was the least convince as Elrond. Nothing against Hugo but he for me didn't match the character writtern by Tolkien.
