Haha yeah that was the Klingon roar of applause, one of my best memories of the weekend. A hush fell over the whole of the venue for just a second and I couldn't stop laughing!

People are complaining there wasn't enough room or things to do. If they got a cheaper, and therefore smaller, venue (this is London afterall) where exactly would they have put everything that they already had and the extras that you feel were missing?

Does no-one take into account the cost of the venue hire? DSTL took up two (perhaps three?) of the pods for the show itself, another across the way for queuing in the morning and then a further one for the evening entertainment. The ExCeL isn't a cheap venue and these costs have to be paid regardless of whether anyone turns up/pays for autographs/photoshoots. Of course we all do but the cost of these then goes towards paying the guests and (hopefully) getting more to come to future events. We spent the weekend in the same building as five of the captains of Star Trek. How many people across the world can say they've had that opportunity even if you didn't meet them all?

Aww thank you! I'll be honest my main thing for Saturday was cosplaying and the record attempt so it's not a huge deal if I end up Fri/Sun only so long as I get to complete my DS9 cast picture and get the photoshoots I want!

I'm from Aberdeen. Land at Gatwick at 8:45am and then need to train/tube it to Excel. All going well I should get there around 10:30am. *crosses fingers*

THANK YOU! My flight gets me in around then so I'll head straight there from the airport. If I don't you'll find me in a blubbering mess outside the Excel centre lol

So I just tried to order my 3-day ticket (last minute I know) came up with a problem with the order and to call SEE who said all 3-day tickets are sold out but some will still be available on the day. (I really hope this is true as everything else is booked and my flight leaves tomorrow morning at 7am!) Assuming that this is correct what time will I be able to buy my ticket at the Excel from? I'm starting to panic that I've wasted a LOT of money on travel and accomodation...

*squee* OMG yes!!! A weekend Big Bang themed con would be exceptionally epic!! <3 but as guests at a general signing event they'd also be a great crowd pleaser! So in other words, pretty pretty please say YES!!

I keep meaning to spend more time on these forums pre events but seem to always be too busy. Yet another fantastic event guys had a blast even though there were no guests I was specifically there to meet. Thank you for all the hard work!

I MAY have talked to you on Saturday when we were getting blown about by the wind, waiting to go into photo shoot A, but then again, it was probably someone completely different! Yes, that was me! Had almost as many comments about that WonderWoman t-shirt as I did my Babydoll costume lol. I spent most of my Saturday in the wind tunnel that was the photoshoot area! :)

Saw the above lovely lady walking around today, talk about gorgeous! Must have been freezing though! Is she on the forums? Back on subject though, will prob have my photos online some point by next weekend as don't get home until Tuesday! *Blushes* that would be me! *Waves* I've been a bit of a forum luker for a few years now but I've made a promise to myself to pop in more often and ACTUALLY post things! Thank you to everyone for the positive feedback on my costume from today! Was my first time cosplaying and I was nervous as hell BUT I was not cold! Musta been the adrenaline or something! If anyone else has piccies I'd love to see! Didn't really have anywhere to store a camera today! lol

I am checked in, settled and buzzing with excitement! Not a complete newbie as I came last year but with my ex. Am on my own this time and hoping to meet up with a few peeps. *Bump* we've been waiting quite some time for a response to this, it might not seem a lot to some but I could really use the money at the moment!

My boyfriend has THE most ridiculous photo from the Klingon shoot ... I'll get him to post it as soon as we're home. Still got Michelle Forbes to track down and possibly Chaske *swoon* before checking out at 12 Then when it was my turn I got queue jumped by none other than Barry Bostwick and the three of them were hysterical! With Martok prettending to knee him! Then it was my turn which felt way too short but I found out J.G's favourite colour is pink(!) lol I had a pink top on and his hand 'accidentally' got stuck to me as I was trying to leave... was very confusing for me at the time but everyone in line behind me was cracking up! Such great sports to spend 3 hours in makeup for us ... totally awesome experience, hope we get them back sometime together again!

Well we're planning a quiet night in at the hotel tonight with room service and Voyager on Virgin1 LOL! Totally up for a meet-up on Sat/Sun though :) somewhere easy to get to from the stadium as we're staying at the DoubleTree and don't know the area that well!

Checked in a couple of hours ago... pretty nice hotel, loving the DoubleTree cookie! Yum! BeatrixKiddo - I'm pretty sure you were checking in just before we were but the guy was wearing glasses so I wasn't confident enough to say hi in case it wasn't you!!! (Plus I'm a lurker around here so you may have been like who the hell is she?!?!) We kinda got in too late to actually do anything except have a quick walk around the stadium checking out the stadium, caught a glimpse of Tim Russ but had left my Voyager pic in the hotel room! God damn it - would have been nice to spend some time chatting to him while it was so quiet! On that note, we got in through the hotel via the Clydesdale boardroom - will we be able to do this for the whole weekend? Obviously not first thing as we'll need to queue but it would be nice to not have to make the long trek around the outside of the stadium to get back at night!

Hillllooooo! I've posted once or twice over on the CM16 forums but thought I'd say hi here! I'm Leanne, just turned 24 and my boyfriend and I just checked into the DoubleTree Hilton hotel for CM16 a couple of hours ago! Hope to see lots of you there over the next few days!!!!

**Double Bump** I'm also getting a wee bit worried about this as I want to buy my autograph vouchers with a credit card and need to know what my spending limit is... don't want to get a fee for going over or even worse getting declined and not getting any! £40 goes a long way... although that being said I'd be happy just to be given auto vouchers at the event if that saves on refund processing fees for y'all
