  1. To be honest, I hadn't looked at any stuff online. I know quite a few of the dealers create their own montages/film cells/multiple photo frames etc, so I was hoping I could find one a bit like that, but perhaps Game of Thrones is just too new, or not big enough. Who knows - like I said, it's really not anyones fault, just disappointing. Hopefully will be able to find something in the future!
  2. Hello, I appear to have grabbed up a spare crew t-shirt (thinking it was my spare one I had lent out for Sunday, and returned to me). I left so quickly I didn't have time to double check, and the person I lent my spare shirt to still has it. If you've misplaced your crew shirt, give me a shout, as I have one. It's a size M! Lizzi x
  3. QS has it right. We're starting the process of matching up photos to descriptions today. There are not as many as after LFCC so hopefully it shouldn't take too long, but it is still an arduous process. Photos, once matched up, are then hand-addressed and sent to you in card-backed envelopes, so they shouldn't get damaged so long as royal mail are reasonably careful with them. We tend to do all the matching before starting on writing envelopes though. Hope that helps, and hope you are happy with your photo when it arrives!
  4. I met her as well, and found her to be friendly, chatty and very pleasant. my only disappointment was the distinct lack of generic Game of Thrones merchandise amongst the stalls, as i would have liked to start a game of thrones canvas or something similar. Probably more my fault for thinking I could find something at the event, rather than getting something from the internet before hand. Not to be helped, nobody's fault, but a bit disappointing!
  5. I thought you could get a refund put back on your card, but may be mistaken - best bet is to ask the crew on duty at the organisers booth.
  6. A couple of gentlemen did this at LFCC and it was a great idea/help to us that were sorting through the photos. They didn't use staples though, as a stapler was unavailable at the photo collection point.
  7. That is an excellent suggestion, and I strongly urge you to do that! Also, please please please don't put things like: "Too tall knows me" (He doesn't sort through the photos!), "I'm wearing a doctor who shirt" (You and about 100 others - more description is needed!), "I have black shoes with red laces" (whilst useful, your shoes are NOT going to be in the picture. Aim to describe the top half of yourself!!) Following LFCC, we had almost 1000 photos to match to slips of paper. It was a monumental task, but those people wearing easily identified outfits were far more likely to get their photos returned quickly and without mishaps (i.e. there was at least one person that got sent a photo of someone else, which was our mistake, but we don't like making them!)
  8. You can definitely pay in cash. You can pay cash at the guest tables (or at the cash table in the queue for the busier guests). I would recommend trying to get as many £5 notes as possible, as this makes it easy for the crew dealing with cash, as £5 notes are often in short supply. If you choose to pay by credit/debit card - you will need to pay for 'autograph vouchers' at the Organisers desk. There is more likely to be a long queue for this, especially early in the morning.
  9. Great guest!! I had such a lovely day working as her guest assistant in MK! Great to see her back!! xx
  10. How exciting. Damn my mum coming for dinner tonight... Do you think it would be rude to serve her meal in a doggy bag and show her the door? lol (jk!!) I'd LOVE a new WHO (Chris, David or Matt); but I would REALLY REALLY love it to be Keanu Reeves so I could get a Bill and Ted duo signed pic, and maybe a double photoshoot!! That really would be AWESOME!!
  11. Awesome guest! She's so lovely... Think she may need a crew t-shirt soon...
  12. Excellent guest announcement!! Absolutely thrilled with this one... Now I need to tell Andrew I've changed my plans for crew vouchers! lol
  13. Pretty hard as the original Yellow ranger was killed in a car crash in the late 90's... Could be persuaded with the other originals though, as it would be a real trip back to my childhood!! On that note, how about 'teen' heartthrobs from shows like Saved by the Bell and California Dreams?
  14. May I suggest that you (OP) double check your order confirmation to make absolutely certain that your order was processed for 4 tickets?
  15. Currently reading A Game of Thrones - George RR Martin (i haven't watched the series!) and The Lioness Rampant - Tamora Pierce
  16. I just had a look at what other events were on at the NEC complex that weekend, and looks like Cliff Richard or the Dive Show could be the problem.
  17. Would love to meet some of today's great cyclists - Bradley Wiggins Mark Cavendish (Especially Mark!!) Geraint Thomas Chris hoy Mark Renshaw
  18. Please be aware that both JediJules and I were also away at Sportsmania this past weekend, so no substantial work on getting envelopes addressed and sent off happened over the weekend. Jedijules has been hard at work doing bits every spare minute she gets - which includes her lunch hours at her full-time job and evenings. I'm pretty sure all the Natalia Tena photos were matched up successfully, so they'll be sat in the pile waiting to be addressed and posted and should be sent out sometime this week or early next week. I'm sure JediJules will post an update when all the matched photos have been sent out, and anyone still missing a photo should e-mail in then.
  19. There is another issue with regards to the original photos - the copyright belongs to the photographer as his artistic rights. He would have to be willing to sell those rights to the pictures - and that goes for regardless of who is in the photos - guest or attendee!
  20. It's okay - I wasn't referring to your comments about not knowing who they were, as you can hardly help that.
  21. I would say approximately 50% of photos left at the weekend have now been sorted, addressed and should be heading to the post office today (Jedijules has several large boxes of envelopes to post!!) Another 40% has been sorted and is waiting to be enveloped/addressed. About 10% don't appear to match any of the descriptions left. The job of matching faces to descriptions has been a mammoth task this time round, due to numbers, so we really do appreciate your patience as we get them all out.
  22. Heads up - Mark comes to most of the big events, and he comes on here. This is not the place to cast aspertions on his career with a1, as they are still a band (though concentrating their efforts in Norway at the moment.)
  23. Envelopes are card-backed with Do NOT Bend printed on them.
