  1. Met Shane at the G-Mex in Manchester a couple of years ago and he is a TOP,TOP bloke. Had a good chat with him and he was a real laugh . He took the **** out of my car though but as he's bigger than me i let it pass
  2. FANTASTIC Top of the range guest!!!! Thank you, thank you Showmasters. Gonna bring more Jaws stuff with me for him to sign than you can shake a big stick at
  3. DROPKICK MURPHYS AC/DC OZRIC TENTACLES METALLICA MOONDRAGON
  4. Well at least it's 'Acid Free' Pro plus so he shouldnt get into any bother with the Law or anything LOL. Missed that on the OP so i could probably do with one myself
  5. Keep an eye on those sleeves m8 as i think they are the same ones as i purchased a couple of years ago to store my autos! They tend to warp and curl over time and could damage your precious 10"x8"s. I just store mine in run of the mill 'acid free' sleeves from W H Smith with A4 card for a bit of protection. Save yourself some hard earned cash and dump the Pro plus stuff. Then again it is totally up to you how you store your signatures
  6. I agree. I thaught he was brilliant as Jayne. He's probably one of the main reasons i go on and on and on and on ( you get the picture ) at my mates to get into the Firefly/Serenity universe. What a fantastic character! Cant wait to meet him at C14
  7. I agree entirely. I'd rather remember him as he was in 1985. I was a huge fan of Family Ties, and of course it goes without saying that BTTF was one of the most important movies for my generation. The Secret Of My Success was another favourite of mine. Under normal circumstances I'd love to meet him - but not like this. Hear,Hear.
  8. Lmao if you do I will go as Fran, with a bottle of wine, with a polar bear on the bottle. Shall I grow a beard and come as Manny? Yea, then i could shave it off and nail it to a frizbee and chuck it over a rainbow ( or something like that if memory serves)
  9. I was thinking of going as either Cabumbo or possibly Belly Sevallas! Cant quite make up my mind
  10. Wasnt Karl Urban supposed to attend a Milton Keynes show a couple of years ago? I'd love to meet him as i love The Lord Of The Rings movies. As for Val Kilmer, i wouldnt cross the road to meet him after the dismal showing (or lack of it!!) in London. What a dissapointment of a guy
  11. My first show was C4 way back and i havnt missed one since! I've also been to a couple of the Manchester shows and the last 4 LFCC's. I tend to spend the whole weekend at the show if possible and always find it a bit hard going by the Sunday afternoon . Normally the bigger guests are spread out over the weekend but some are able to attend for the 2,3 days whatever so i normally get to meet everyone i want to . I go with friends, but may be attending C14 on my todd which doesnt bother me as there is always someone to shoot the breeze with at the show as we are friendly bunch all in all! Do what you can manage to do and you will be guarenteed a cracking weekend. I always do
  12. I'm going to hell for laughing at that. I think hell is gonna be very crowded in that case. Oh no, that is soooooooooooo wrong!! I'll bring the suntan lotion if you guys bring the BBQ stuff! LOL
  13. Cheers guys and a special thank you for bringing Ian Whyte along I hope you werent too ropey on the Sunday after a night on the lash with him ( if he has hollow legs you guys were in deep sh*t!!! ) Hope to see you all at the next show in MK.
  14. He was ok but nothing to brag about. I said "Hi Bill, how are you doing?", he said "Hi" back, signed my 10"x8" and subsiquently passed it on to Tim Brooke-Taylor to sign! Over in a flash realy I realy like the guy so all is forgiven
  15. Any chance of getting Greame Garden to attent C14? Well i dont know about you but i was gutted the other weekend when he didnt show at the LFCC. I know it was beyond the organisers control but having the chance to meet ALL 3 of the Goodies in one fell swoop was mouthwatering to say the least. I am now the proud owner of a Tim Brooke-Taylor and Bill Oddie signed 10"x8". All i need now is for Mr Garden to sign it and HAPPY DAYS............... SO what do you say Showmasters?
  16. Carrie was great on both occasions ive met her, but do we realy want to be covering the same old ground when it cames to Star Wars guests? Lets move on and get THE HAMILL( nudge, nudge Showmasters) for Collectormania 14. Now THAT would get me exited
  17. I love this movie. I know David Naughton has attended Collectormania before, many moons ago (ha,ha, see what i did there ). Was lucky enough to meet John Landis at the LFCC last week (what a guy). Would love to meet any other member of the cast at C14
  18. After the enormous success of Barrowman and Myles at the last Collectormania show, its a big HELL YES from me for more Torchwood guests at C14 As for Noel appearing in the new series of 'T' then that is another thumbs up from me as i realy like the cheeky little bugger. Thumbs up all round realy My thumbs hurt.
  19. GOD ALMIGHTY!! A list to end all lists. Its almost enough to make you dribble . Almost fell off my seat when i saw the last entry. At first glance i thaught it said Zoe BALL Cripes!! Hows about some 300, Sin City or AVPR guests?
  20. I'm with you guys! Please, please, bring Denise to C14!! she is the only Next Gen crew member that eludes me at present . It would certainly make my weekend if she attends
  21. In a perfect world, yes, Michael would be a fantastic guest to attend any of the Shows, but alas, Parkinsons seems to be getting the better of him! What a rediculous idea !!!!??!!!
  22. He was very quiet when i met him. He was the first person i got to meet early on Saturday morning so he may not have been at his best? The guy was in Blade for christ sake so i didnt really care to be honest. UDO KIER is a legend. Oh yes..........................
  23. Well for me it has to be a toss up between John Hurt and John Landis. Hurt was a real nice guy considering how mega busy he ws ALL day. I didnt get to meet him until around 2ish and he was a real joy . Landis was great also and we had a little chat about American Werewolf as it's one of my fave films of all time. I'm sure he's had to endure the same monotonous little chat a hundredfold with many other fans but he was very enthusiastic. Top,Top blokes
  24. Didnt bother with him this year as i was lucky enough to meet him at last years show. With so many excellent guest at LFCC this time around i seriously had to prioratise my guest list and i simply could not afford the luxury of another Stewart experience. I'm just glad the sheer chaos of last years show we avoided and everyone that turned up to see Patrick DID and went home Happy Bunnies
  25. Met him early on Sunday morning, he signed my items and i got a handshake and even a smile. Sounds to me like i had a good deal compared to what many others experienced He Didnt seem to spend much time at his table though. Maybe i'm just easily pleased
