  1. 'Course I do! It's not that difficult and it's comfortable so it'll be a nice break :) And yup people it's true- I am being the back half of Bill the Pony *snerk*
  2. Mwhahahahahahahaha.... I'm assuming I'm one of the two mentioned? In fact I think I'm doing hte other half of it rihgt?
  3. Wasnt you Xena at C6??? Lol, yeah I was!
  4. Yeah I was Mystique, I'm gutted not more people knew who I was- I thought the yellow eyes (man those contacts hurt) blue skin and red hair gave it away!

    NEARLY THERE

Can't wait! And definately can't believe it's only 17 days till we get book 6 (and that after we only have *one more* book left! Eep!)
  6. Hey Elfie! Never did say thank you so much for doing my bunches and evening up my mask! *hugs*
  7. I was on the same train as you, thought it would be too weird of me to go up and say hi though! I'm not sure what time I got back last night, most of it's blurred by the sleep deprivation I was suffering (fell asleep with my head on my desk this morning at work)
  8. Hmmmm... *Thinks*... Well, I'm sorta blonde. No cape, though - it's a Trenchcoat - lolz. Meep! I think he's talking about Kirtsy- she was dressed as Magdalena with the red and black cape and big goth boots.
  9. Yeah Beks both you and your costume looked awesome :)
  10. I was Harley Quinn in that Batman group (girl in the red and black with pigtails, black mask and white face if you don't know who she is) and on behalf of everyone in the group I'll say thank you!! Everyone worked really hard on their costumes and it's nice to see them being appreciated
  11. Seras Victoria from Hellsing is just begging me to make it....*mutters* No one would recognise me at any of the showmasters events though!

    LFCC3

That's my Mystique costume 95% finished....can't see my yellow contacts though (man those things irritate my eyes!) Now just got to finish my Harley Quinn!
  13. Well I'm judging this by my previous journeys to LFCC and various Collectormania's. My journey will probably look something like this- Friday- 3.55pm- Realise train leaves at 4, and the station is 15 minute journey away. Panic, throw everything in the car, narrowly avoid hitting bushes, small animals, other people and arrive with 30 seconds to spare. 4.10pm- In true British Rail style said train will then be late. 4.20pm- Train finally arrives and I set off. 6.25pm- Arrive in station with 5 minutes to get round the Underground and meet-up with people. Inevitably my mobile will have no signal thus making me unable to inform people of my lateness. 6.55pm- Having got lost on the Underground finally make it to the station to meet-up with (rather disgruntled) friends! After all that I plan to go out and get food etc etc. Sunday will be pretty much a reverse of the above.
  14. Arrr, your pirate name will be Four Fingered Frodo! Frodo Baggins the four-and-a-half foot terror of the high seas!
  15. No, I missed all that cos I didn't get the internet 'til about 3 years ago. I wish I had been there though. I bet those JetC groups were a blast Were you there in the hey day? Lol yes I was there in the heyday- though I was in JCUKjnr and the jr ponds because I was so very young (actually we're having a reunion at LFCC which could be fun!) but those were definately the days!
  16. Same here, though. It's going on my security blanket (coat) I won't be wearing a coat! (Are you *mad*- with how hot it's been lately I'm going to bake in my catsuit as it is!) So I'm not sure where I'd pin it!
  17. I'd join you with the tags but I can't pin anything to my costume without running the risk of ruining it and/or piercing my skin. Well I'll be the one dressed as Mystique from the X-Men (before anyone says it- Comic version! The non-naked one...hehehe, now that *would* have been a difficult one to pin a tag on!)
  18. What do you need help with costume-wise? Ask away I'm sure someone on this thread can help you :) Righty, well I've got to make an Elizabeth Swann costume over the summer. Admittedly, it's not exactly a PIRATE costume, but it's close enough. I have absolutely NO idea where to start...it's all so frilly and complex. I've seen a dress on eBay which I'm thinking of using as the top layer of the dress, because it's the right colour and saves a lot of work. I just need to make the under-y bit for it. It's the Captain barbossa dress thing. Well I've made the dress (wore it to C5) and all I can say is be prepared for long hours sewing annoying details! Like the black half-corset thing she has showing and the gold edging (which never shows up on photos either!) If you need any help with a specific bit please feel free to ask me how I did mine and if I can remember I'll tell you! On more specific advice- Net curtains are *excellent* to use for the sleeves
  19. Lol! Yeah this'll be easy! I'm dressed as Mystique from X-Men on Saturday if your there so should be easy to spot....I'll be painted blue, have red hair and a gun!
  20. What do you need help with costume-wise? Ask away I'm sure someone on this thread can help you :)
  21. I have to ask- were you in JCUK or any of the JetC ponds?
  22. Lol how would I do that? Rig the forum game somehow? Bribe whoevers making the lists? Hehehe... *pokes* Why aren't you on MSN btw?
  23. I'm a complete idot, could've *sworn* I wrote what days I was going....meh, my sieve-brain strikes again- edited to include.

    Potter films

I voted Prisoner of Azkaban because despite the fact it erred from the book alot I think it's spirit was still very close. I liked the other films as well they just didn't capture the books as well for me.
  25. Put me down! (even though I've only managed to find my assigned person once- and that was Rickman 101 and I tend to stalk her a bit anyway ) I'm there both days.
