  1. size wasn't the issue, it was the height - people on back rows struggled to see much.
  2. Thanks. Yes, all I said was, "Let's be silly!". Their responses on Twitter since have been just as entertaining!https://twitter.com/robmoriarty/status/1054126757836713987
  3. Michael, Nicole, Aron, Max and Chase. What was discussed is of course classified Sigma Nine clearance only... Yes, Gerri and Kelly both on top of ensuring everything went as planned, and any slippage resolved quickly.
  4. Having just gone through and worked it all out, based on the fact that I got: photos and autographs with everyone I wanted to (including ones I'd had previously but decided to get again), that came to 41 guests - easily over £2k value a front row seat for the DS9 documentary, mingling with the stars who were even sat behind me for the duration (and believe me that felt weird hearing Casey Biggs laughing his head off every few minutes!) access to the Saturday night party even though didn't bother with the Friday one front row seats for 4 talks (my one grumble, I wish I could have gone to more, but had so many guests to get photos and autographs with) meet and great sessions each day, plus breakfast with several stars which were intimate and great fun a goody bag with some pretty decent stuff and a merchandised photo for each guest an event poster signed by all attending guests all bridge and green screen photo ops included That easily gets you to a £3K value. Add on top of that a few extras we got, and you really can't put a value on how much time the queue jumping perk saves - then it really does start to be economically viable for that number of guests. I must also say again a huge thank you needs to be fed back to Gerri and Kelly who were looking after us all weekend - they bent over backwards so many times and couldn't have done any more.
  5. Yes, all talks I made it to and absolutely worth it.
  6. It's the TNG guests, so Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis and Gates McFadden.
  7. I'm doing the same tribute for my recently departed Gran @Matty-lad, I'm sure we'll both do them proud and fully enjoy the experience.
  8. From Facebook... Thanks SM for making this available in advance, it really is appreciated.
  9. the announcement was last week, look at the date of the post!
  10. with a piece of paper stuck on their back with "kick me" written on it...
  11. It's about one show, unlike CC and CM which cover multiple fandoms. It's also organised with other partners rather than exclusively by SM. The same could be said for Sherlocked.
  12. yes 300DPI would be better if poss. can the msg be passed on to the SM team for consideration at all?
  13. They are 5760x3840. Should be sufficient to scale up to that size.
  14. even so, this may have just tipped my interest into Admiral ticket territory...
  15. She's no longer listed on Eventbrite or the main DST website, but no announcement?
  16. Larry Nemecek has been a much requested name in the online groups I mingle with. Have asked the man directly and he said he’s available, please see if you can make it so SM!
  17. "Let's party! At Destination Star Trek the fun doesn't stop when the hall closes! We have a themed party on Friday and Saturday nights at the nearby Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Friday night we bring you the Being William Shatner party! No denying James T Kirk is synonymous with Mr. Shatner, but we thought it only fitting to celebrate his long and varied career. Will you come dressed as T.J. Hooker, The Big Giant Head, Stan Fields, or a creative mashup? Or perhaps you will celebrate the man himself by donning your best Canadian apparel or maybe come as a cowboy? Come kick off the weekend and dance the night away."
