  1. Only way i'd ever sell an autograph is if i went to a convention and got an autograph and then went to another convention and the autograph was included either in the ticket or because i got a voucher or i won it. the i would only sell a non personalized 2nd autographs. if i only had 1 or the item was personalized id never sell it. I only ave 1 person i have 2 autographs from at the moment and i don't feel ready yet to part with the non personalized one. I'm waiting for the right time.
  2. I get this. To be honest though, please correct me if I'm just being plain ignorant, I never quite understood why people in a wheelchair should get priority. I understand people on crutches or a person like the OP who can't stand on their feet for a long time, but I just don't see how a person in a wheelchair is any different from the abled people as they aren't exactly in pain or have a certain endurance limitation (so to speak). If I'm wrong, please correct me! I don't know any person with such a disability, so I'm just guessing on what seems logical to me. Some people in wheel chairs ARE in pain. someone i knew at college had a back problem. she was in a wheel chair and in constant pain. The main reason those in wheel chairs get priority to go through first is because showmaster don't want to cause accidents int eh queue. it is not easy for a wheel chair to be going up and down through a queue weaving through people. It would cause injuries and slow everyone down even more. They (SM) just want to get the disabled over and done with to make it that bit quicker and safer for everyone else. I mean who would like to be weaving up and down crowded queues that are only taped out on the floor so you probably cant even see them in a chair? people think ow they are in a chair they can just sit there and they are fine. but its not quite like that. people get rammed into enough accidentally when going through the traders isles, it just wouldn't be possible in tight spaces queuing for photographs or autographs. Also there are those that can walk a few steps to get out of their chair to take a photo and then get back in.But they cant walk more than a meter or two. My mum couldn't walk much after the car accident. I hope this helps people understand who people who are disabled get more priority in queues.
  3. my friend went up and got multiple autographs at an event. only she could make the event so a few of us gave her the money and she got the autographs for us. So no not everyone is i it for the money sometimes its friends getting stuff signed for friends who couldn't go. Also sometimes people have things that they want signing but cant decide which item they want signed so get them all signed. e.g. if you have a poster and a script and a 1st edition book and a prop you may want them all signed. maybe they should limit it to 2 or 3 autos and then if you want more join the back of the queue.
  4. I LOVE NCIS, NCIS Los Angles, Hawiee 5O. Would Love to meet main cast from Any of these.
  5. You didnt need a diamond pass to buy an autographs from all diamond guests. I bought autographs from Christopher LLoyd and Michael Gambon and they were diamond guests.Although i was a gold ticket/wristband holder. I definitely know you HAD to have a diamond pass to get an auto from M J Fox due to his health.
  6. This would be a good thing if SM could get it to work but it could push up the price of tickets, people could take advantage of it and those without visible dissabilities could get turned away. so this would take a lot of planning to work out if it was viable. what would be better to start off it to keep the num of tickets sold this year but add the extra halls. plus completely re plan the layout so things are places a lot better e.g. all photo shoots on 1 floor and all autographs on another floor. these things would solve many problems.
  7. I agree they should look different every year. this year mine was black with gold writing. maby next year they could beblue with pink writing or gold with blue writing or maby have the showmaster logo all round them or something just to make them look different.
  8. I TOTALY agree. if they keep the same amount of tickets sold this year but add the extra halls and then we will have a good capacity.
  9. I agree id have been more enclined to have bought one if they had had them on a stall at the enterance. there was PLENTY on room to put a table at the gold enterance every day where i'm sure they could have sold programs to those entering the building each morning.
  10. or dinner might be a better option.
  11. I'm usuely realy sad when i get home from cons. But this time with all the stress, the crowds and the heat i was relieved when i got home.
  12. I TOTALY agree photo shoots all need to be on the same floor next year and from now on. I almost missed a shoot a friend of mine who was with me DID miss one of her shoots as she just couldn't get from the 1st floor to the top floor in time as the queue was sooooo long for the lifts. we went to the sales table and thankfuly managed to get a refund for my friend. But this should NOT be happening so much. if shoots were all on the same floor then if 1 was delayed you could go to the other get that shoot then go back to the origional one quickly and easily.
  13. I think the reason diamond passes weren't created for lower priced guests is because a diamond pass would need to be a package of photo(s), talk(S) and autograph. but for the those who bought a gold entry they are suppose to get free entry to the lower priced guest talks so with a diamond pass they'd have had to pay. So to be fair to gold pass people they could only included auto and photo(s) so it really wouldn't be worth SM making diamond passes for these guests.Hope this helps.
  14. my problem isn't so much with blurring or eyes closed. I had a clock photo with Christopher Lloyd and although the picture looks alright the photographer who took it didn't do the best job. Christopher is right on the edge of the photo. Any further to the right and he'd have been almost cut off. I understand that there were a lot of people meeting Christ and Michael but the way the queues were handled and the speed the photographers tried to race through just made it seem less worth the money. when you spend £85+ on a photo shoot you expect a couple more seconds to make sure the picture is as good as it can be from the photographer. Especially with Michel when many couldn't get his autograph.
  15. What i think would make thing s lot better is- move the YALK to the winter con, keep the numbers the same BUT have the extra 3 halls. they had 6 this year with the extra 3 that would be 9. that 50% extra room. if they kept the numbers the same with the 50% extra room i recon people would find things a mot better. so PLEAS showmaster when you add the extra 3 halls next year PLEASE DON'T add an extra 50% of tickets.
  16. I didnt even know about the program till sunday afternoon and by then I didnt really think it was worth it especially with it being £5. I was hoping that gold wristband people would get one in their packs as they do at other events. i might have considered buying it at half the price. could they not have considered putting the price DOWN by 3pm on sunday?
  17. I keep my autographs and photos from the events in a folder(s) to keep them special forever. photos i take myself with my camera i upload onto my computer and some onto the internet.
  18. one more thing. i was at one of my photo shoots on sunday and i handed over my gold photo shoot vouchers and the staff member looked at me and said in the most threatening voice "where did you get this" I showed them my gold pass wrist band and they just scoffed at me and said Fine in a not very nice voice. I think next year it might be better to give people vouchers like the ones used for refunds rather than the red paper ones used this weekend just gone.
  19. I dont know who you are but thank you to the people who helped me find my way outside and round the building for the BTTF talk. I couldn't have done it without you.
  20. RDA was great. He was a real gentleman and was courteous to everyone even when he had to deal with difficult situations like when the lady in front of me was complaining about wanting to get her autograph personalized even when the SM staff at the desk were telling her she couldn't. he reluctantly said he would to stop her arguing. He was then very polite to me and just signed he name. I think the fan in front was more ungrateful and less courteous. it was not fair on the rest of the people in the queue. My picture with RDA he is smiling and he was happy to put his arm round everyone. All in all i had a really good experience with RDA. my only qualm is id have liked to have longer to talk to him as i was rushed through my autograph due to the lady in front to talk but i understand why i couldn't.
  21. i agree that people who are physically disabled should go through shoots first as they would just hold the queue up otherwise but i don't agree when people in when chairs other those on crutches think its ok to push past the more able. we are all there to have fun. I always say excuse me and sorry when i fall into someone and there was an awful lot of that from trips, people pushing on me and general accidents. But i never just fobbed it off and apologized even if it wasn't my fault. there were plenty of people who bashed into me and shoved me and never said a thing to me. some people who were there really need to re think their manners even if they didnt do if if you feel yourself falling against someone whoever fault it was say sorry. thank you to all of those who did and all of those who helped me. I don't know all your names but if your reading and you helped someone at any point over the weekend THANK YOU.
  22. I went to the back in time talk but i had a photo shoot at the same time so had to leave to go to that just as they were saying diamonds stay in your seats, gold go to this place everyone else go to other place. when i came back from my photo shoot i was told to go outside and round the billding and join some queue whitch i didnt understand the instructions for. I have epilepsy and autisme and don't understand directions. i told the staff i didnt understand and they just repeated in the same thing i didnt understand. eventualy another gold ticket wristbander came and helped me find my way out the building and round. Only to find by the time i was outside all the golds had been let into the hall and seated and i had to sit right at the back. i very nearly lost it this weekend. it wouldn't have take much or been unfair for the staff to say wait aside till gold tickets are seated then take a seat rather than me spending over 5 minuted trying to get an answer out of a staff member then spending 15 minuted trying to find my way outside a building to another entrance and back in. only to get a seat at the back of the hall. I was NOT impressed. I had only been mere metres from the seats when i came back from my photo shoot and they were already seating the diamond holders. alsp when i did eventualy get into the hall and find a seat at the back after going outside an back in the talk had started. i did not buy a gold ticket to LFCC to sit at the back of the hall.
