Mine isn't one single item, its a collection of items - I have all the Buffy/Angel box sets and my aim is to get a different signature on each one. I have nine sigs across eight boxes so far, and I have a list of who I want to sign which set - taking into account people I should be meeting in the next six months or so, I should have 15/16 of them signed by Christmas!

I usually only get signed 8x10 photos but when I have a personal item I want signed I get both the photo and item signed. At the moment I only have 2 items which I am collecting autographs on...

First is my Red Dwarf Series 1 DVD which has so far been signed by Craig, Chris, Danny and Norman.

Second is my Jeffrey Newbury b/w TNG Cast print which so far has been signed by Brent, Levar and Gates. I am getting it signed by Marina this weekend and hopefully Michael will sign it at C6, then I will just have to get Partick and Jonathan to sign it and then it will be complete.

So far I only have a LOTR poster with 2 sigs on it, but i only started it at C5, in the past I've always got 8X10s signed. If i meet someone for the 2nd time then i get my poster signed, 8X10s are 1st priority.

Very impressive Admiral Bear, thats a lot ot Star Trek signitures. Are they personalised or just signitures?

They are not actually sending out tickets mate, they will send you an e-ticket in the post or via email which you exchange on the day for an entry ticket, if you havent got anything yet I would get in touch with them asap as all the e-tickets went out 2 weeks ago.

I have a picture of the Voyager cast with all their signatures on it. Nine in all.

I also have signed pictures of Patrick Stewart, Marina Sirtis and Jennifer Hetrick (Vash)

and a signed Robert Picardo CD.

On a different note, Did anyone see the big lithograph picuture of the next gen cast?

I was going to get this untill the guy told me the price (Around the £500 mark!) and the fact that

Michael's signature wasn't on it.

Do you mean this one?

Only reason I thought of that one is because I read that Michael Dorn wouldnt sign it for along time but he seems to have no problem signing it now.

I also have the Voyager cast "black civvies" photo completely signed (inc Jeri Ryan), with Richard Herd, Dwight Schultz and Alice Krige added along the top of the photo.

It's the complete main cast of Endgame.

Totally unique as far as I know.

Actually not that an impressive a figure. I've been collecting Star Trek autographs in The Star Trek Fact Files Magazine. A useful place for autographs as they created a page for just about every single character in Star Trek (all series both main cast, reoccuring characters and guests).

I've got Two Hundred and Forty Six (246!) Autographs in there. I'm getting one more on Saturday (Hallie Todd - Lal - her page is File 55, Card 3)

Got all of the 5 main casts except DeForest Kelley (doesn't sign anymore), Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Scott Bakula and Jolene Blalock.

The main cast autographs alone comes to 36 autographs.

For reference I collected all these in person, and yes this cost errm quite a bit, not including a fair bit on travel to conventions.

Regards,

David

David,

De Kelley doesn't sign anymore because he's been dead for the last 5 years!

Does the fact that you don't seem to know this reflect in how much you actually know or care about Star Trek?

And I don't think your magazine counts. We're talking about signatures on a single item (photo, poster etc), not various different character cards or pages in a magazine.

I met a Trek fan once who had hundreds of signed Trek character cards in a folder, but he wouldn't class that as signatures on a single item.

Did you have to pay any extra for your insurance or just let them know exactly what you have as we are considering what to do about insuring our collection?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
