nacelle
Garrett Wang is a great MC! They should definitely ask Garrett to do it.
cmwheels
Greg Grunberg just announced via email
Count Fooku
Al Worden also announced as a guest. Might not be directly linked to Star Trek but he is a hugely engaging character, exactly what you would want an astronaut to be!
ozycomms
Finally, some more news trickles out but not what I was hoping for.
gwynatlarche
No offence but that's disappointing. We need people directly related to trek.

Jamesmd85
Grunberg was also the voice of Kirk's step dad in Trek 2009.

MLP*
Well I wasn't expecting any announcements this weekend because of the Sherlock convention so I'm pleasantly surprised that they are finally starting to come through.
MLP*
No offence but that's disappointing. We need people directly related to trek. For the past DST events they had John Barrowman and Jonathan Ross so Grunberg is more directly related to Trek than either of those ! cookiemonster
Slightly baffled by the guest announcement but I hope he does well at the event. Is Greg Grunberg only presenting the opening ceremony with no autos and pics like Barrowman and Ross did before?

Queen_Sindel
will Greg Grunberg be signing and doing photos As far as I know yes. At least he went up on the pre order store by accident a Little while ago.
Count Fooku
True, but why invite an astronaut It's always felt to me that there has been a close link between Star Trek and NASA down the years. Not least with the first shuttle being named Enterprise. From some talks and interviews I've heard down the years its seemed to me that many of the original series cast took an interest in the space race and it's not uncommon to hear astronauts now talk about how being a fan of Star Trek partially influenced their career choices. I know it's not uncommon in the US for astronauts to attend Star Trek events and for Star Trek guests to attend space related events. To me it seems like a natural fit.
Brodnick82
Greg Grunberg photos are available in Event Bright (£21). Looks good for signing as well then.
