Agreed. I spent 18 months saving up in the hope that this event would happen - although I work i have bills to pay like everyone else - and so that I could afford an Admiral package and get as much out of the event as possible. Also to reduce the practical challenges - I an a full-time wheelchair user and I have to manage pain & fatigue as part of that. My package/experience was brilliant and worth the planning & effort. I would recommend it. We are all fans of Trek, but for anyone to suggest that some ways of engaging with that are more valid than others is arguably inappropriate and offensive, and certainly runs counter to IDIC 🖖

I spent time with Terry Farrell, Nicole DeBoer, Dominic Keating, Connor Trineer, Chase Masterson, Robert O'Reiley,Martha Hackett, Armin Shimerman & Kitty Swink and also got a 1-1 chat with George Takei. They were all great actually - open and funny. Made for some great chat and unique photos :)

I paid for an Admiral package - my first - and I'm SO glad that I did. I agree with Rob,I think it should have included the combos but, that aside, for all the reasons stated above - the content, the support, all the great people I met - having the package helped make for a BRILLIANT weekend (I think I got about 5 hours sleep from Friday - Sunday) and I would definitely go for it again :)

"not a calming comment"? What are my posts confirming some things are not finalized then? I am trying to do what I can. But some reactions on here really make me wonder why I actually bother. I think everyone understands you respond to posts as best you can As I think others have said, the frustration people are feeling is with SM, and specifically the absence of key information so close to the event. Unfortunately, with some emails not getting a response, this is the only option for expressing frustration to SM

The Five new guest announcements are great :) Seems odd though that the likes of Rene Aubjonois, Nana Visitor and Gates McFadden haven't been invited - especially if, as Nana has said, she would attend. Make it so, SM?

Then why don't Show masters give us something to discuss about THIS show other than absent guests,cancelled guests and available guests apparently uninvited??

Like you,am hoping for more guests - and there are pointers for these - is disconcerting and disappointing to have had almost 3 months with nothing from SM but a guest cancellation 😟

Which begs the question: Given that this is supposed to be Europe's biggest celebration, in Trek's biggest year, why do we have fewer guests at this point than DST3, having had no guests / talks announced for 11 weeks, and only 6 weeks to go?

We can only hope . . . 7 weeks today . . . there has to be something soon . . . :)
