A great guest! Nearly completed my Poirot collection Also, the Eventbrite site has her Saturday photo shoot tickets listed under Sunday (they're at the very top), might be worth fixing to save any confusion.- 36 replies

Opinions and feedback on the Sound quality please
cookiemonster replied to JohnT's topic in Destination Star Trek Europe
I attended talks at the Enterprise stage across the weekend and found the sound quality to be very good - probably the best from a SM event I have attended. The Excelsior stage (I think) was next to Photo Booth B and the noise from the stage meant you couldn't hear what the crew at the photo booth were saying. I did have issues hearing some of Chase's set on Saturday night and i was standing on the dance floor! -
Yes I had this problem too. Thankfully I had got a TJ Hooker photo with me to get signed. Unfortunately I had none of BBT for Wil Wheaton or Buffy for Armin Shimmerman. I know it is a Star Trek convention but still think SM missed out on autograph sales by not having a small selection of photos from other tv and films. The SM stall that was selling prints was selling them for other shows as well as Star Trek.

Opening Ceremony Presenter
cookiemonster replied to gwynatlarche's topic in Destination Star Trek Europe
Slightly baffled by the guest announcement but I hope he does well at the event. Is Greg Grunberg only presenting the opening ceremony with no autos and pics like Barrowman and Ross did before? -

As you have Peter Guinness appearing, any chance of (his wife) Roberta Taylor being booked as well? She's appeared in plenty of TV dramas including Eastenders and The Bill and has written plenty of books. Also, in keeping with your Alien theme, maybe Casualty's Clive Mantle? He appeared in Alien 3. -

David doesn't run the DST twitter sadly, otherwise it might be used more, if only to keep momentum going and keep us all entertained -

Latest Guest Announcement - LINDA PARK
cookiemonster replied to Massive Events's topic in Destination Star Trek Europe
Yeah, i think I just get used to Mr Bedwell doing such a sterling job keeping the momentum going on the normal SM account it seems odd whoever is in control of the DST one isn't either. It's a shame Linda Park has had to cancel, here's hoping SM get her back for another event asap :-) -

It would be nice to have some more traffic on the FB and Twitter in general. It's gone very quiet of late on most social media which is a pity. -
Was good to see bags being checked on entry considering the current climate we live in. Famke's chap was a little bit too keen for people to move on after their photo was taken in the Sunday afternoon shoot.

I can't wait to see all the photos when they are uploaded online!

I'm currently being spammed by Showmasters
cookiemonster replied to Stenun's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2016
I have had other non Showmasters Eventbrite bookings in the past (including one tonight) and not had this kind of email before so is it not a setting/agreement between SM and Eventbrite? -

With Anton Lesser being announced, could we get Roger Allam as well please? He was in early episodes of GOT and would fit nicely with Anton Lesser as both are in Endeavour.
