Sheppy dreamer
I'm local still going to cost a fortune as I'll spend the money I save on photos and new toys but heck I get to sleep in my own bed on a night.
artyclarty
Another two in Durham here. Really excited as I've already saved nearly £200 on hotels compared to my last con!

coolbreeze76
Ditto, from Newcastle and literally 10 minutes away from the venue. The wife wants a pic with The Cat - i just want a decent comic artist/writer turnout :)

t_iii
I'm from South Shields so not too difficult to get to. It'll make a nice change being able to sleep in my own bed before a convention. I'll be in the artist/small press area sketching things for people most of the weekend so feel free to stop by and say hello.
ant1012
I live in Newton Aycliffe which isn't too far away, just gotta get a couple of trains to get there. Seriously can't wait for this!

BasG
Not from Newcastle but compared to most other SM events NFCC feels almost like a local event to me. Managed to get a return train ticket from Glasgow for £24, a lot cheaper than my usual flight+train+hotel when travelling to the London shows.
