At the staggeringly young age of 19, Samantha Shannon wrote The Bone Season, the first book in a seven-part series of dizzying imagination. The Bone Season introduces a compelling heroine and also introduces an extraordinary young writer, now 21, who has created a bold new reality in this riveting debut.

The Bone Season has been sold in 18 languages and Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings) and Jonathan Cavendish (Bridget Jones’s Diary) have optioned film rights through their British production company, The Imaginarium Studios.

‘Truly extraordinary and thrilling’ Andy Serkis

The year is 2059. Nineteen-year-old Paige Mahoney is working in the criminal underworld of Scion London, based at Seven Dials, employed by a man named Jaxon Hall. Her job: to scout for information by breaking into people’s minds. For Paige is a dreamwalker, a clairvoyant and, in the world of Scion, she commits treason simply by breathing.

It is raining the day her life changes for ever. Attacked, drugged and kidnapped, Paige is transported to Oxford – a city kept secret for two hundred years, controlled by a powerful, otherworldly race. Paige is assigned to Warden, a Rephaite creature with mysterious motives. He is her master. Her trainer. Her natural enemy. But if Paige wants to regain her freedom she must allow herself to be nurtured in this prison where she is meant to die.

The panel is highly likely to be ticketed (generally all non-cosplay/comic panels are). If it is paid for, tickets will probably be available in the shop beforehand. If free they will be given out only on the day.

Free talk tickets are usually available at the talk area

Thank you. Can I get these when I get there in the morning or are they given just before the talk?

They should be available first thing.

Thank you!
