Queen_Sindel
You've left it very, very late. How much distance is tolerable? Even the Ibis was close to 100 quid before they sold out.
jonathan
Yeah I think a lot of the decnt hotels within the right distance, price range, quality etc were all booked up long long ago

MrsEllacott
Probably best trying a Travelodge or Premier Inn and even perhaps away from the area.
Queen_Sindel
The cheapest three Star I have found is the Mercure and that's over 200 pounds a night.
napalmbaby
We booked the Sheraton by Heathrow airport for £79 pn and it is only a 40 min ride in on underground.
DarthSharkey
http://www.royal-national-hotel.co.uk/ This is where I stay every year, 3 stars, next to Russell square tube and 5 mins from Euston station. Easy travel to LFCC
Gmorris2504
Try hostels yeah they're not as nice but you can get some good ones relatively cheap

Winter Is Coming
You've left it very, very late. How much distance is tolerable? Even the Ibis was close to 100 quid before they sold out. I know, we were going to buy at the door, but then decided to get it online. My mum 'accidentally' bought Sat and Sun.

Gmorris2504
Mothers can be rather picky can't they! Haha if you can find a decent hostel that will probably suite your budget a bit more but you may have to explain to your mum that the good places would've been booked up ages ago
Gmorris2504
Nothing wrong with premier inns I stay in them all the time! Very comfy beds and the staff are always friendly I've stayed in most of the London ones and I can happily say the earls court one is one of the best I think.
crippsy_99
Im afraid to say, this close to the weekend its going to be a case of pick anywhere thats available, or your not going to find anywhere to stay, simple as. As people have said, you've left it far too late to look for hotels now, even if there wasnt a show in earls court, being london, most places will have filled up long ago. Queen_Sindel
What's the distance your mom will tolerate then? At the going rate yeah, Heathrow may be an option as recommended above. But that's a lot of commuting time. I do not recommend this lighthearted - but you may be better off simply not using one of the tickets then. Staying over will cost a fortune. Rockstar6662
And don't forget there are some big gigs on in Hyde Park that weekend too (Bon Jovi and Rolling Stones) so people will have booked hotels for that too. I have stayed there before and its nice. Also great for plane spotting. Marriott beds are really comfortable. I do likey staying in marriotts when I can. MrCharisma1066
Tried www.booking.com you select how much per night, how many people and location and they find hotels for you to choose from.
Flibble
You could try Hotel Antoniette in Wimbledon. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel to Wimbledon station and then a few stops on the tube to West Brompton and Earls Court 2 is literally across the road from the station.
