Favourite Firefly Episode

As somebody who has only just finished watching Firefly for the first time (and absolutely loved it!) I was wondering which episodes were people's favourites?

rare for a series but i think every episode of firefly is amazing brilliance!

 

so choosing one is tough, the original pilot is brilliant, ariel has a fantastic ending, heart of gold is so funny (the scene were mal is asking them to help and jayne is like im in as soon as mal mentions whores i could watch on a loop all day and still laugh, its so well played) the message is also so sad, but i think right now I would say out of gas, that springs to mind first when thinking about firefly episodes.

 

humm damn, now im in a mood to rewatch all of firefly

I am torn between Jaynestown, Out of Gas, and Objects In Space.....sigh....Summer swings it for me in Jaynestown.

Same here. One of the good?? things about theere not being many epsiodes is that it is easy to find time to watch all of them.

 

Honourable mentions go to Serenity (the episode), Kaylee eating the strawberry, and Shindig, Kayleee wanting to interogate the buffet table.

They're all great but Jaynestown is my favourite. It's got to be the funniest of all the episodes, one of my favourite scenes is where River fixes the bible

You could pretty much pick any Firefly/Serenityscene and I would like it!

All the episodes are awesome so it was far too hard to decide.

In the end i had to go with Trash just because of the partial nudity scene with Nathan Fillion

always brings a smile to my face.

Objects in Space is a clear winner for me - it's Joss' writing at it's best - closely followed by Out of Gas.

 

But, really, none of the episodes is ever rated anything less than Very Good.

Not sure of the episode but love it when Kaylee has a gun and can't use it, (too scared) then River comes along and bam, she kinda flies into action getting everyone in her way (little miss rambo)
