I have a room full basically coz my mam won't let me put any of my collection in any other room of the house (how mean!!). Highlights include: All the toy figures. Most of the 12in figures. All the casts autographs. Personal autographs off Andy, Lij, Sean A and Dom. Hobbit sized stand up of Frodo. Elf, Ringwraith and Frodo costumes. Every official movie book released. The one ring. Aragorns ring, Galadriels ring. LOTR's watch. 2 duvets. Several busts (oo-er!). Holographic ring chamber thing. Loads of posters and postcards. Hundreds of clippings of Lij from all over the world. 2 piles of magazines. Collectors cards including autograph cards and pieces of actual clothing. A cuddly Gollum (strangely cute!!). And loads more. Probably the best thing (apart from the photos of me and hobbits!!) are the things i found in New Zealand when we went on a LOTR's tour. We actually found pieces of senary(don't know if thats spelt right) and bits of costume on the Pelannor Fields. We were also lucky enough to be there on the last day of filming ROTK and went to the studios to watch the orcs collecting their pay!!! Lots of big Kiwi men!!! Anyone else been? would love to be able to talk about it sometime.

That really does sound fantabulously awesome!! I'd soo loved to of gone when they were still filming. But it would still be VERY cool going there now. I'd love to see the Shire.. There should be a rule u have to act like & dress like a hobbit as soon as u get to the shire.. Like they could provide u with costumes etc.. They must be getting alotta money for all of this. I went 2 NZ last summer for 2 weeks on a tour run by Red Carpets (if u go book with them, the guide is excellent. so kind and cuddly!!!!). We toured all over North and South island visiting nearly every site you can think of. Below are some highlights; Standing on top of Edoras looking out to where Helms Deep was filmed. Travelling by helicopter to the Ford of Bruinen (awesome!!! but nearly lost my dinner in the heli!!). Visiting the studios & talking to the orcs. Seeing Peter Jacksons home. Eating in restaraunts the cast visited (gave me such a good feeling to be sitting on Lij's chair!!!) Sleeping in the same bedroom as Orli (sum1 else had Lij's but i visited it & sat on the bed!!). Falling off the same washing machine that Lij fell off!!!! Being inside bag end. Meeting Ian Brodie the author of the official guidebook who showed us photos of ROTK before it came out and also gave us a genuine piece of the moria set each!! Visiting the 'Get off the road!!' site and all shouting it!! Paddling in the River Anduin. Having a picnic at the site of Frodo leaving the fellowship at the end of FOTR. Lying against the tree that Frodo hid behind in FOTR (had a bit of a moment there!!) Travelling to Mount Doom. Walking around Fangorn Forest. I could go on and on and on but you'd probably all hit me so I'll stop now. Am hoping 2 go again next year but need 2 start saving now!! It was such a great holiday and i made so many new LOTR's friends from all over the world that are just as mad as me!!! and we still keep in touch. (Sorry for going on!!)
