welsh hobbit

well, mine kinda count as anime. I'm doing Ashe from Final Fantasy 12 on the one day and either Chi from Chobits or Kasumi from Dead or Alive on the other. Bet no one will recognise me again!!

Yay!! Hooray!!! Whoopee!!!! Another anime fan!!!!! Great to meet you! So good to know I'm not on my own! My costumes are normally games characters coz i reckon they may be slightly more recognised than some anime characters. Have done Yuna gunner, Yuna summoner, Rikku thief and Rinoa. In the future am hoping to do Rikku gambler, Aeris and me and my sister are hoping to do Chi and Freya from Chobits. She also did Lulu with my Yuna. Favourite anime varies as to what mood I'm in but I've just finished reading the Chobits series and am now looking for something new. Any ideas!?

Just wondered if there was any anime fans out there. Can't seem to find any!! The problem is that most of my costumes are anime based & no one ever knows who they're meant to be!!!!!!!!! When i dressed as Rikku and Yuna at LFCC I'm sure that most people who took my photo had no idea who I was. 2 small boys knew though!! Wanna go as more anime characters but need to know if anyone will actually know who i am coz otherwise I'll cry!!!!!

I know this is a bit early but was wondering what costumes people are going to be wearing to collectomania. I'm torn between Gambler Rikku from Final Fantasy, Alice from the second Resident Evil film, Chi from Chobits, Aeris from Final Fantasy or a student from Battle Royale. Not sure how many of these people will recognise though!! Will possibly get arrested in either the Rikku or Chi costume as they are both rather skimpy!! My sister is undecided but may do Freya from Chobits on one day. We may even manage to get our boyfriends to come with us this time in costume!!! May have to bribe them though!!!!

On Sunday shes going as Mina from League of Extrodinary Gentlemen. We can't wait!!! cool! i was thinkin about doing an auron costume! but didnt have time in the end Sorry!!! We've changed our minds. Coz of having to travel up on the Saturday we're gonna hav 2 change in a toilet. We thort it'd be easier 2 wear the lulu & yuna on the sunday coz its more complicated. Therefore, i'm gonna be Rikku on the saturday instead. Should be cooler as well!!! Auron would have been so cool to see. Maybe next time!!

Me and my sister are going for pairings to Collectormania. Not sure what costumes we'll be wearing altogether but for one day she'll be Lulu & I'll be Yuna, both from Final Fantasy X and on another day she'll be Jill & I'll be Alice from Resident Evil 2 (the film). Hopefully someone will recognise us!!!!

I was another 'freak' dressed up this weekend. I was Rinoa from Final Fantasy on Saturday and Yuna from final Fantasy on Sunday. I must admit, i do enjoy the attention I get & i've neva had a bad comment. I even had comments off people outside the convention that were just ordinary passers-by & they were really nice as well. I think dressing up is still a bit unusual in the U.K. In Japan cosplaying is a highly respectable thing 2 do & is not considered strange at all. Just go on Ebay and look up 'cosplay' & u'll c the 100's of costumes people have made. At the end of the day, we enjoy it & who cares wot others think!!!

As written in my post i'm goin as Yuna from Final FantasyX-2 & possibly Rinoa from Final Fantasy 7. Just need to finish the costumes first tho!!! Bit scared that ' gotta travel on the train dressed in very small shorts!!!!! Think i'm gonna freeze!!!

Have been thinking of getting a Clare Redfield costume or maybe Jill from Nemesis. Jill may become a bit common though seeing as she wears it in the new film. shouldn't be too hard to cobble together though.

Oh, yeah! I've dun the months thing. Between FF & Resident Evil I've given much of my life 2 games!! Nuthing wrong wiv that i reckon! Shame there ain't a chat board 4 games on here.

HELLOOOO!!! Ain't posted 4 wot seems like years! Was just wondering if any1 would know who I am when I go to the LFCC. Any1 know who I'm on about or will I just be 'the girl in the strange outfit'!!! It doesn't help that I have to wear the costumes on the train to get there!! My sisters going as Anna from Van Helsing so wonders if any1 will recognise her 2.

Saw it on the Sunday night at Milton Keynes. Now, I know I'm a bit thick but I didn't understand it at all!! Just went for Lij but annoyed my sister by squealing every time he came on. Have got to go and see Van Helsing with her now just to make up for it!! Oh, and nyhobbit79, you got a fight on your hands coz I'm gonna propose next leap year!!!!!

A little bird told me that there will be 2 major SW guests for C5 and loads of other minor ones. Also heard rumours of Sean Bean and Viggo. I just want hobbits and i'm happy!!!

Have had such great times at all the Showmaster events was just wondering why they aren't spread out a bit more. We had london and c4 only bout a month apart and the same will happen wiv the next 2. What am i gonna do between now and October!!!

Had a fantastic time. Was lucky enough to be there from 3 days and loved every second of it. The crewmembers are all great especially the nice man who asked me about my feet again. So good to be remembered!! Only one complaint, have to wait till October for the next!!

Am trying to contact two girls who were dressed as Faramir and Eowyn and talked to me, my sister and friend just after the costume comp. Just wanted to know who you were coz you were really friendly and it would be nice to chat. (I'm not weird, honest!!).

Didn't mean that Ewan should be Bilbo! Was just saying that he doesn't look like Alec Guiness even tho he's supposed to be playing him in Ep1. Ian Holm would be a cool choice but i don't think it will be him. I think Ian McKellen definately has the job of Gandalf according to the mag.
