I also remember how open he was in the Lost Boys talk in MK a few years ago. And just how amazing he made that weekend for me and my friends... he made our lives complete when he recited the infamous "death by stereo" line for us.. one of the highlights of my life!! A true gent, so SO sad to hear about his death. gone too soon. RIP Corey <3

*chuckles* bless my Mother.. here is my story... My Mum used to be a barmaid in a pub in the town where I live. At the time, I was only little, and Memphis Belle was being filmed not far from here. The whole cast/crew stayed here (which is cool hehe) and one night they went into the pub where my Mum works. My Mum told me the story a fair few years ago, that she asked one of the actors for ID. Which I found hillarious! Until... ...fast forward a few years. At the age of 17 I was sat watching Memphis Belle and Sean came on screen.. when Mum suddenly goes "That's the guy that I ID'd in The Fishermans" Cue my face... "Mum... PLEASE tell me you didn't ask Sean Astin for ID...." Yes. She did. My mother thought Sean wasn't old enough to drink and asked him for ID. Shocking I know! And some other guy (she can't remember who) said to her "Don't you know who he is?!" and apparently Sean found the whole situation really funny, and then my Mum said "I couldn't care less who he is, he doesn't look old enough to drink" *chuckles* god bless her!

I always seem to bloody meet you, and you're always drunk when I do *chuckles muchly!!* T'was good seeing you anyway hahaa!

Mine was when I was sat in Burger King with the amazing people I had spent my weekend with, and it dawned on me that we wouldn't be sat in MK for it again until October... depressing! And also when my train pulled out of the station and I was sat on my own after a weekend of madness.

What was the cause of the abuse? Personally, I think it'd be more helpful to figure out WHY people were being abusive so that SM can try and change stuff in future. Well there was two talks held back to back. So obviously we had the problem of having to change over audiences, and stuff like that. There were a few ways that it could have been done, and to be fair, no matter how it was done, there would have been unhappy people. A decision was made and it was just pretty heartbreaking to stand and watch people shout at your friends when you have worked hard leading up to the talk setting up and making sure everything runs ok. It was just a bit hard to cope with! But with a smile and by being polite, i think we did ok. And I agree, I said the same things to people in that getting angry doesn't solve anything. Ensuring problems are discussed now to prevent them happening in the future is the way forward!

Having crewed for the first time on Sunday I can totally appreciate the Showmasters crew helluvalot more! It really is tough, and we were especially put in a hairy situation when trying to crew the Buffy talks (which I think we did a good job of, despite the abuse that was hurled at us!)

I won't let you starve (unless you're mean of course ) But yus, I'm in a crappy position too. Eurch I hate borrowing money off my Mum

Yup same here! Still not got one, I'm kinda losing all hope now. You know its bad when you're spending all your time in work thinking about whether you're crewing or not rather than concentrating. Hence the reason I put the wrong certificates in the wrong envelopes and didn't realise until I had done 30 of the buggers.

*Cries!* Well, you know what they say... third time lucky and all that... so maybe C8 is the con for me to crew?! Lol xx
