LOL the school is having an 'Eclipse Ball' where they are showing Twilight and New Moon and you can dress up. I can't be bothered to go seeing as none of my friends will and it will probably be a load of Yr 7 kids that will annoy me. They read it in the notices and the teacher asked who was going. No one put their hand up and the boy behind me went Holly????? LOL anyway, my German partner is here then and she wont wanna go. Mainly for the fact I am making her watch Twilight and New Moon and taking her to the Eclipse premiere and to see Eclipse :D :D

But I am annoyed with the German Exchange...because their tight and two faced, they said we were going on trips with them (to London etc), and we're not so they organised bowling one evening. Now the school has decided to have a end of Yr 9 disco on the same night we go bowling!! grrrrrrr....I was gonna wear my Alice party dress... We have a party for the end of the german exchange but I want to go to that disco aswell :P

and I'm ordering my Alice birthday dress todaaaayyy :D

i am so tired - been playing flute/picc in a show [medley of musicals] all this week, it runs from 8pm - 10.45pm with only a 15 minute break - that's two & a half hours of straight playing - as it's a medley, there's no conversation sections. Wrecked after it all but it's so much fun  Tomorrow's closing night :(

I once played the recorder. I got bored of it so I just stopped.

I also got stuck playing a baritone a school. It's fairly large and I got fed up of carrying it back to school everyday, so I stopped that.

I could play the keyboard/piano too, but nothing too complicated. I don't have access to them any more so I probably wouldn't remember anything if someone sat me down infront of one :P

No wonder my mam wont buy me a guitar

Omg it's a slice of bacon. Grow up. Just cuz your worried doesn't mean you can take it out on me.

And calling me a ****? Oh dear, how mature..resorting to name calling because I asked for a piece of bacon?

You scare me sometimes :P

Its not a case of smart enough, I believe there is a musical instrument out there for everyone, its just a case of finding out which one is for you :P

Couldn't agree more - I've played both Alto Saxophone & Bassoon in my time, and whilst I loveeee the sounds of both of them, I had to give them both up - they're just not for me. Also played violin from age 4 to 11, and then dropped it then - again, just not for me.

Whereas the piano, flute, piccolo & drums are my babies! so definitely, everyone has the capability of playing an instrument - not necessarily to professional standard but to an enjoyable one :)

I reckon the stage will be giddy tonight - but certainly sad; they had their celebration after-gig drinks last night 'cause tonight is Sunday so there'll be work for everyone tomorrow so it'll be a bit of an anticlimax alright! :P

I envy you, I really really really miss music

Had to give up cos of my back, but I sneak onto my piano every now and then. Its okay as long as I dont lose track of time, cos it really hurts if I play for too long lol

Touch the Sky, rants are fine,................within reason................... but an explanation helps! :P
