Hi Victoria, I have been listening to the soundtrack for Twilight and i love it, been to see the movie twice and going to see it again for a third time tomorrow lol, im reading Eclipse at the moment and i cant put it down, i was the same with the first two books lol, i agree it describes Bella's feelings for Jacob perfectly, Jacob was her Sun through her dark time without Edward. Such a lovely song, and she is PERFECTION. I think Smash into you by Beyonce is perfect for when Bella's running through Italy, and it's just generally an amazing song and like my mother said, We are broken by Paramore, such a Bella and Jacob song and also When it rains by Paramore. I listened to it the whole time I was reading the saga and to me it fits quite splendidly! And like people have said, MUSE! . Someone also said something about how Paramore didn't fit.. or something.. haha, all I can say is WHAAATT?! I might be biased 'cos I'm a Paramore fan and have been for 3 years.. I loved the Muse song in the baseball part, and bella's lullaby, but parmore!? A definite no no i think. So im hoping they will put in a HIM song as they are the gods of gothic love songs. Maybe stone sour or something. My fiance works for a CD and DVD distributor and most of the acts on the Twilight album are affiliated to Warner by their record labels. Muse, Paramore, Iron & Wine, Collective Soul, Mutemath, Linkin Park and Perry Farrell are all on Warner Bros Music and distributed by the company he works for, I think they may pay less in licenses/royalties to use artists which are within the same company umbrella.... TaraB Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Was sitting in my car the other day when Run came on the radio (the good version - Snow Patrol) and i was thinking that the lyrics were very apt for a Twilight type of soundtrack - and then I heard The Three Graces do it in Italian (and instantly fell in love with it) and I kinda could really see it as Bella ran across the Piazza (sp?) in Italy as she is running towards Edward. If you can find the song (I wasn't able to find a link but it is up on itunes to hear a 30 second clip) have a listen and let me know what you think (it starts off a little slow but I think by the time it gets to the peak near the end that Bella would be off on her flight across the square to save Ed) TaraB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With lyrics like, '...these wounds don't seem to heal, this pain is just to real' it couldn't not fit. Definitely. That was a track I was going to suggest. The lyrics would really fit. I'd love to see some Linkin Park tracks on the soundtrack, perhaps Points of Authority, Papercut or Numb. Also Hoobastank - Reason, which is a lovely track with great lyrics. I'd also love some Blue October tracks on the soundtrack since I completely LOVE them, the songs 'Let It Go' and 'Hate Me' would both fit nicely. I definitely agree with Points of Authority and My Immortal. I think an Evanescence song would have been great on Twilight, too.
