deadrobot
I too am coming from Glasgow with friends coming from Aberdeen. Some people are coming from OZ for cripkes sake. Thanks for coming on the forum to put a downer on it. My friend has been to a con at this hotel before and she said it was a great location... each to their own I suppose. DorothyOverTheRainbow
I'm coming from Amsterdam, probably by plane cause a series of incidents makes me not wanna take the coach anymore and I wanna get my fear of flyin under control. Short flight=good practice.
Elspeth
Yeah i 'm not to big a fan of flying myself, but hey I you wanna get anywhere fast, it's the only way to go!
DorothyOverTheRainbow
If you like going to America too But having an eleven hour freakout isn't funny last time there was so much turbulence I totally had to squeeze someones hand due to mayor freakage But an hour must be doable, I'll just throw some buffy episodes on my mp4 player and go. Buffy Lover
I'm taking a coach; it's about a six hour journey, I think. I got so bored and uncomfortable going to Milton Keynes, but then again at least this time Helen'll be there. (: I'll put some Buffy episode on my MP4, too. Only problem is how quickly the battery dies and I won't have my computer to charge it. Darn.
DorothyOverTheRainbow
Mine lasts 10 hours playing vid it verymuch rocks! and am taking my laptop to charge the thing
Buffy Lover
I have no clue how long mine lasts, I've never tried it. XD Oooh, I was considering taking my laptop (I don't have it yet, it's coming next week, yay. (: ) but the battery doesn't last very long on that, either. I can always use it in the hotel, I guess, but my Dad pointed out I probably won't get internet connection, which sucks.
Elspeth
You can buy back up batteries for mp4, i've seen them in some shops, they usually give you an extra 5 hours of video............. Edited April 10, 2009 by Elspeth

princess_jessica
I hope so I hate filling my tank up myself. besides its only a little micra and its quite good for petrol. I'm sure Clarkson drove on 1 tank in an audi from london to manchester and back again
