hi just FYI for whoever maintains the website, i was looking at the guests page and clicked the link for the forum but instead of bringing me here it took me to the Chevron 6 section of the forum.

wow we're actually being split into groups this year! last few years gold and silver weren't grouped as far as i recall - looks like tickets have sold well thid year. i have a couple of questions though; 1. Is this a finalised schedule and therefore no chance of a replacement guest for Amy? Dont get me wrong, the line up is great - i am just greedy lol 2. is the game show in addition to or in place of the pub quiz sunday evening? and if it is instead of the pub quiz, is there a new theme for sunday nights party? for those asking questions about being split into groups; to explain it as simply as i can - you can always go later than your group is called (as long as you dont miss the final call for all groups for each photo/signing on Sunday lol) but you cant jump forward and go earlier at any point. Because there are bound to be people asking - if you are only planning to attend on one day speak to the stewards - they are all very good imo and will help if they can. If you want photoshoots and autographs with each guest but times are clashing a bit due to one or the other running late (its a con, its enevitable, dont bitca about it, just get on with it) it's generally best to give priority to the photoshoots as signings have a little more flexibility it seems, but generally go for whichever you want more just in case. If you are really stuck then again speak to a steward and they will help. Bottom line for all the newbies; if you are uncertain about anything ask the other attendees (warning may lead to new friendships... its ok, dont be scared, we're just like you.... no really, we are!) and ask the stewards - they're the folks in the dashing red tshirts lol - cos those dudes and dudettes are great..

Hmmm, tough to keep it PG-13 lol In LA walking down a sunny street where i bump into J August Richards who stops me and tells he knows how weird it sounds but he had this crazy dream about me last night creating a hugely successful show with him and will i please let him buy me a coffee so we can talk about it and see if his dream comes true. Needless to say, i accept A demon walks up to you in a bar and says he has done a lot of evil things but is trying to change and has been given a wish to make any movie he wants become real life but because he was all evil, the only films he's watched are horrors for educational purposes - you somehow manage not to run for the hills at this revelation - and he needs you to help him pick a movie; which movie do you reccomend?

Hey all, thought it might be fun to expand a bit on the introduction thread with another for us all to get to know the people we will be spending the weekend with in advance. an old idea but works well generally. first person posts a question, the next person replies with their answer and posts a new question. concerned by the complete lack of random chat on here and somewhat surprised. i was very spoilt (and grateful to be so) by my brothers and sister in law. lots of fab pressies. whedon gifts were firefly blu ray, cabin in the woods blu ray, dr horrible blu ray and sunnydale t-shirt.

Don't worry, as soon as they have it they will post it on the forum. No sure how long it normally takes cos i have a tendency to leave it until the last minute, but have never had a problem getting a room, even when waiting until a few weeks before the event to book it.

So I know we all want this to be a whedon only event but that can't happen anymore so let's embrace the change and help SM with suggestions of how to expand the con in a way we will still love. Change doesn't have to be a bad thing, without change Angel would never have had left Sunnydale and we wouldn't have had the five fantastic seasons of ANGEL! I for one am choosing to stop sulking about the change and try and look at it as a positive. I can only afford one con this year (like a lot of people) and at least with the changes I get to meet actors from other shows I love. So the point of this topic is for us to make suggestions as to what shows we would like to see incorporated into the con. Personally I would love to see shows included that aren't already represented by other cons because it opens up a whole new fanbase of potential attendees without SM having to compete with other organisers for guests. My top two suggestions would be Bones or Castle - although not scifi they have a tie in with the whedon fan-base so would fit well IMO Personally I think only one other show should be included because I can't see non whedon fans booking for only one guest from their show unless it's a really big guest - assuming we get the full 6 guests and the fact we've been promised 3 from the whedonverse - to include two other shows would mean that one of the shows would likely only have one guest if nit both shows, unless we get more than 6 guests of course. Anyway enough babbling from me, what do you all think?
