Game of Thrones guests are more often than not UK based, so relatively cost effective guests in the current climate (much like Doctor Who guests) so I see the trend continuing until most people's budgets improve along with economy.

A friend of mine met Robert at a convention last month and said he was very friendly. -
This year is the 10th anniversary of Ron moore's BSG too.....

I don't think Eliza's ever left the con circuit, I met her in 2011 & 2012 (and one of those was in UK)

BSG guests have been mostly ignored (or are too busy working) - I think the last BSG guest at a showmasters event was Luciana Carro at EMS 18 months ago. Most of the cast are convention regulars though, so they clearly enjoy attending when asked/able. All I can suggest is that you keep asking for them, certainly a few cast have told me personally, they don;t all have agents so are often waiting for an invite. BTW - Jamie Bamber is currently back in London filming a new show, so that might help with his availability until he rejoins his family in LA.

Very pleased with the news that Nick is attending.

Or maybe whoever looks after the showmasters twitter account (I'm told it's one of the mods and not actually SM staff who run it) could follow any announced guests. -
Nick Castle was friendly and seemed to enjoy meeting fans when I met him, bring him over.

It appears that AMC want a slice of the convention cash pot. Seems that most of the cast have now been told to only sign official TWD merchandise. 10 x 8's must be supplied by AMC (at additional cost to the actor) so that will push autograph prices up. AMC are getting a lot of flak about it, though they own the TWD copyright and the actors are under contract, then it is their right to lay down guidelines. Perhaps the feedback from fans will made AMC reverse their decision or they will only allow actors to promote the show at events officially endorsed by AMC. Who knows really. -
Rumour (unsubstantiated) was they tried but she won't do anymore.

Who are you meeting and what are you getting signed?

Not going this year...first CM:MK i have missed for a long long time. -
Been saying for years now, SM need to go down the e-ticket route like most others these days. No postage fee and no complaints about late tickets.

Too many Game of Thrones announcements? Discuss...

Many Game of Thrones actors are based in the UK, so (Just like Dr Who guests) I would always expect to see more of them at a UK event than actors from shows primarily featuring Canadan or USA actors. -
To be honest, unless you are only able to spend a reduced time at the event I have never seen the need for a gold pass at Collectormania Milton keynes. I have always managed to do everything I have wanted and had plenty of time to meet up with friends etc, it's not as hectic as London Film & Comic Con. But everyone is different, so some may feel the need for a gold pass (particularily if you are doing a lot of photo ops and feel the need to be at the front of the line each time).
