  1. Hmm great response there HaraRaza7 - do the psychology books teach you to rudely reply with 'Youaa talkaa lotta crapaa'? If so, let me know which ones so I can avoid them. Seems to me the majority (although not all) of your posts which i've been unfortunate enough to read have been negative - any particular reason given in your Psychology books about that?
  2. Most sensible people will be carrying some sort of file/folder/envelope to keep their autographed 10 x 8 photos in anyway - you would have to be a bit of an idiot to walk around carrying any photos in your hands all day. For a bargain £15 - some people really expect too much!! Take into consideration the artiste fees/expenses, the photographers expenses/fees, organisers fees and processing costs, £15 doesn't really stretch very far you know, there isn't very much profit there at all!! HazaRaza7, if you aren't happy - you're not obliged to purchase a photoshoot.
  3. Great suggestion - that agency has so many other people we need to get too.
  4. All I can say is well done SM!! Keep it up!! Can I be the 1st to ask for a photoshoot? PS I was lucky enough to meet Richard several years ago, he's a great guy.
  5. Ray recently attended the Edinburgh Film Festival and was very much fit and healthy. He was more than happy and able to sigh autographs and pose for pictures.
  6. How about inviting some of the cast from the original Pink Panther movies: Blake Edwards Herbert Lom Robert Wagner Elke Sommers Graham Stark Burt Kwouk Claudia Cardinale I'm sure they'd be very popular.
  7. Bring her back and her mother (Debbie Reynolds - fantastic old-time movie star from 'Singin in the Rain'). Oh, and how about a photoshoot?
  8. I love all the suggestions so far - especially Richard Dreyfuss and Lee Majors
  9. Some great suggestions there, especially Curtis, Friedkin, Rick Baker and Dick Miller. After LFCC's amazing line-up of guests, anything is now possible
  10. I think its a great idea - and also a good way for SM to make some more money, i'd be more than happy to pay for my JPEGs. Think about it SM, it's all extra money for very little effort! I'm guessing you could probably charge £5+ to either email or post the pics on a CD.
  11. Jason , I was more than happy with the photos on offer - sure there were a few pixellated/grainy ones, this cannot be helped. For every single guest I met, there were more than enough high quality photos for me to choose from. I can understand the problems you face sourcing good quality images, especially at such short notice (Christopher Lloyd), and with a million other things to do. I always try to take my own back up 10 x8 just in case, and I had a hell of a job finding high quality Lloyd/Doc Brown images!! I think people should be a little more grateful for what they get. Some guests were only charging 10 quid for a signed picture - so lets say Showmasters provided official 10x8 pictures to be signed - they would have to be paid for somehow (licensing, copyright, printing etc is very expensive), and the autograph would have to increase in price to cover costs. I'm sure people would be less happy if this happened. As I spend hours trawling the internet looking for pictures to be signed for myself, i'd be more than happy to try and source some decent images for future shows, if it would help at all, just let me know.
  12. Quinny, here is the one we took of you - was great to meet you. Hope its ok posting it here - if not lemme know! http://www.imagebam.com/image/f27a379850895
  13. John Landis is now everyones new best friend!! I say bring him back for another show - maybe along with Dan Aykroyd!!
  14. erm.. does your wife know what you get up to together?
  15. I have to add how fantastic and friendly Margot Kidder was!! She was kind enough to pose with me whilst my gf took a photo - after the photo she grabbed me again and made me do a flying Superman pose with her for another pic - how amazing was that! It was just one of the highlights of one of the best weekends i've ever had. Thanks Margot. I've included the pic here: http://www.imagebam.com/image/f8347e9848498
  16. I'll 3rd that motion You know it's quite disgusting to do anything with a 'motion'
  17. So who do we speak to about trying to get hold of our JPEGs
  18. Actually, some of the photos were very quick to come back towards the end of the day. The ones that were done between 3:45-4 were back by 5:10. That's a little over an hour, and it usually takes about two. We had one woman cycling to and from Boots about a mile away, so I think she did a remarkable job of keeping up In fact, she was faster than the printer! LOL I was the mental cyclist for this weekend and I covered the best part of 25 miles over the two days. My apologies if some people thought I was slow it was my 1st time crewing and after the 8 runs I did on the Saturday, it was very fortunate that my legs were even working Sunday. Thank you for all the kind comments that have been made to me personally or forum wise. If anyone thinks they can do better, sign up to crew and bring your bike next year. I had a wonderful time doing it and the weekend went by really quickly. Michelle Thank you so much, and great cycling - you did a great job getting all those photos back to us before we left on Sunday, and I couldnt believe I was able to go home with the photos I had done less than 2 hours earlier! I was having great trouble trying to describe myself on one of those forms to have my pics posted out to me (turns out we decided I have no distinguishing features)!!
  19. Just wondering - are the JPEGS available to purchase? I'd love an enlargement of my Christopher Lloyd one!
  20. Tony - so it's ok for your wife to take a photo of the guest signing (as you made clear you do in the above thread you started), but for anyone else we should all go to a feckin photoshoot? Isn't that slightly idiotic. Why do you have the right to take a photo but no-one else does?? I think you're just trying to wind people up - get a life. Oh, and in terms of vegetables - I think you're probably a cabbage.
  21. That is a seriously fantastic thing for them to do! Well done guys - you all went up another notch in my estimation!
  22. Absolute 10/10 - if it went to 11 - it would have got that
  23. Can I just add my HUGE THANK YOU!!!!!!! This weekend has been absolutely amazing. I have had the opportunity to meet some guests that I never thought possible. Being a mega film fan, and being brought up in the 80's, I looked up and admired the likes of John Landis, Christopher Lloyd, John Hurt, and the Indy movies. It has literally been a dream come true to be able to meet them, and even be photographed with them. Many thanks to Showmasters for arranging it, thank you to the crew and photoshoot guys for make the 2 days so smooth and thank you to the guests, who certainly did not disappoint. Heres already looking forward to the next event - try topping this one Showmasters!!!
  24. All the guests I met including: John Hurt Tom Savini Karen Allen Christopher LLoyd Charles Dance Jason Mewes John Landis The Goodies All Indy Guests lorenzo Lamas Deep Roy Margot Kidder Brad Dourif Kenny Baker And quite a few more. Every single guest over the entire weekend were an absolute pleasure to meet - I did not have one negative experience with any of them. I have to add, I think certain guests (Landis, Mewes, Hurt, Kidder) were happier to be meeting us! PS I want some of what Landis takes - that man was seriously happy the entire weekend!
