Thank you for all the help, finally got a hotel booked

the Campanile is fully booked

wondering if anyone in the know could recommend an area to look for a hotel for August. Needs to be fairly close and be fairly cheap as the Travelodge doesnt have any family rooms left.

A friend uses foundation to cover her tattoo for when she is on stage, dont think its a specific brand but will enquire for you

was crewing both mornings and then rushing off to go to talks and cosplay and completely forgot about the auction, would have loved to bid on some items, maybe next year

you can not exchange vouchers for cash at the autograph tables, the crew member can give change for cash but not when you pay by vouchers

my daughter always goes in costume and there are a lot of others who travel in costume so you wont be alone if you decide to wear it from the start.

you get your hand stamped and that allows you to come and go as you please

Hi Emma we are coming down from Inverness been pretty hot up here so its been tshirt weather for a while. I dont ever remember it being too hot inside Earl's Court and we have been down for a few scorchers.

inside the venue will be fine as there is air conditioning

the pre order shop shut last week

Have travelled by bus a lot too, travelled with a baby from Inverness to Manchester without trouble but the trip last year was just awful. We spoke to the driver who was no help at all. May try the trip again when Stagecoach bring in the bus with beds. I am quite lucky as travelling with a child i use my railcard so makes the fare competitive with the bus.

I assume there will be a cosplay stage area too

these talks all tend to be on the same stage so wont overlap

We did the bus for EMS. never again. It was the worst journey ever, bus was cold, no reclining seats, toilets had no water in them, a family who thought that it was fun to let their children scream until about 2 in the morning, we got the train home.

there are 4 of us going down from Inverness, we leave Thursday morning back on Monday

depending on what time this is on and whether I can get a ticket I may be able to help as I am only on until 2pm

Sarah and I need to start her costumes, had 2 drama shows to costume first but once they are over we will get going. I just hope we havent left it too late

My daughter, Sarah did Sarah at EMS last year and had a photo with Adam Baldwin. She didnt have a Chuck though.

there is usually something to watch at the cosplay area pretty much throughout the day. Last year there were some cosplay related talks and there was also voice artists doing a q and a session.
