Guess everyone's now heard that Peter Kay is going to play a baddie (called Victor Kennedy, according to the Beeb). What does everyone reckon about this? I've never seen him in a dramatic role so I don't really know what he'll be like... I guess the prob. with famous ppl is that you sit through the whole show going 'I know who that is!' xx

It's true... one minute you have a single signed postcard, the next you have stacks of 8x10s behind the door because there's nowhere to put them :) My current favourite is one by the Research, a not particularly well-known band, but we helped at a gig once by putting up their flyers etc and the tour manager gave us a poster so we got it signed and they personalised it with some really nice messages (my favourite one reads 'To Suzy, I am a big fan of yours' lol) and like my Tom Baker one because it was paid for by an attractive male friend lol Mostly on 8x10s, also the odd book (Paul McGann) and postcard (Jarvis Cocker). Unfortunately we have some sibling rivalry... my lil sis has a big signed Franz Ferdinand poster which she reckons beats all mine, but I disagree!

That's a lot of places to get through in a month! erm what can I recommend... haven't done much solo travelling myself but I've done a lot of research for work projects etc :) have you got a Hostelling International card or anything? plus you can also get these cards where you top up with funds then withdraw like a debit card... sadly i can't remember the name but have seen leaflets at airport currency desks. Watch out for pickpockets in Prague (seriously my purse went about 30 mins after I left my hotel... carry money and ID documents etc in seperate wallets) mid Europe will be pretty hot of course... might need to travel by some beaches :) don't know if you've looked at Travellers Point http://www.travellerspoint.com/ Travellers Connected http://www.travellersconnected.com/ and of course Sleeping in Airports http://www.sleepinginairports.net/ Handy for cheap stays/fellow travellers/ideas etc i also like the Foreign and Commonwealth Office http://www.fco.gov.uk for advice, they know their beans x

I'm a writer so I summarise news stories etc for a daily email. Can be quite interesting but being on computer all day long is v dull (especially now bosses say they'll be monitering internet usage... ooops better cut down on the froum activity) Sadly no waffles in our office, but I did buy some Cadburys Snaps earlier (orangey ones) and I can recommend them highly

I'm afriad I don't know, but I have heard reports from friends in Cardiff that filming was going on last week (or maybe week before?). So expect it won't be televised for a while.

This time last week I think I was at the airport, drinking juice and waiting for boarding to open :) took way too long :)

I'd like to go, but it is a bit far for a lone traveller from Portsmouth who is on a permanently low budget Will see after some guests have been announced and if I can invent some more travelling friends by then.

Didn't get much as was trying to budget :) -Just Andy Serkis and Kenneth Cope's autos (both lovely guys... Cope has dreams of being in Harry Potter... he said has to go into hospital next wk as he kept falling off his broomstick lol) -A ride on the sightseeing wheel (well Serkis was running so late I had to do something with my time!) -Various sandwiches -Bottles of wine What I should have got: -Photos but Serkis was running late :) and I forgot til after I'd done chatting to Cope and was too scared to go back! -Map of Manchester. Would have saved me several miles of walking in circles in the rain -More autos of course!

Flying all the way from Southampton... don't think I've ever been so far north as this before lol. But then even London is north when you're on the south coast :)

The thing is it's Collectormania... it's aimed at collectors and fans, not at random people who only want to meet someone famous (or good looking and famous). Yes there are people who make you go 'Who they?', but for each person who says that there will be another queuing up to collect every bit of Collectables for that series and to get a cast photo/book signed. And the bigger the guest, the bigger the queue
