  1. He was indeed a Gentleman and a great person to have had the privilege to spend a few moments of your life with.
  2. They’ve both been done for a number of years but the schedules were in better locations than sometimes/had more space around them for folk to stop and look. They are also on A0 (I think) size, which although hikes the print cost for SM is much appreciated as they are much clearer.
  3. I’ve also made all of these suggestions a few times, on here and in person. I don’t like megaphones as a first choice either, but the point is that if the chosen method is to use voice, then the voices need to be able to be heard, thus louder, thus megaphone. The other thing would be big (and I mean big) ‘Golf Sale’ style placards on sticks with the name and number written on, and held by the queue pusher at the back of the line, Thus showing where the end of the line is/where the queue is cut. SM have made some of the signage bigger over time (photo areas in particular) and still have really good guest posters, the thing is some of them need to be higher up so as not to be obscured by the crowds. The guest image posters are pretty much spot on for that IMO. One last thing... the washing line props which they currently use to hang the boards on are extendable. Several of the crew didn’t know this, so the signs were not set at the highest possible level. Granted some poles had seized up and it’s a faff extending and retracting it, and the signs are still too small, but if we’ve got to work with what we’ve got, let’s use it’s full functionality.
  4. Indeed thanks from me too. Sah who was Pit Bossing Photo E all day and the queue organiser/pusher in Photo C (was it Ky or Kyle maybe) were awesome and so professional, polite, kind and genuinely interested. Thank you.
  5. Probably not a question for the forum, but I’m not at the event until tomorrow. I was just wondering whether there will have been time to get 10x8’s to the show for David to sign as he’s a last minute announcement, or would it be a case of best to bring your own, if indeed you can find one? I’m guessing there’ll be some available, even if perhaps a reduced range to before, does that sound reasonable/likely?
  6. Fab, thanks both for all your help. will prob go for the standard shoot.
  7. That’s what I originally thought. so just to clarify, are the Diamond Passes labelled as Friday, Saturday, Sunday then? In the past they’d all looked the same I thought.... in which case, if I ordered the pass and selected Friday, but then turned up on Sunday, how would they know that was wrong? (Not saying that’s what I’m going to do). Im probably being really dense, so apologies.
  8. Thanks for advice, I wasn’t understanding that you get a physical photo shoot ticket separate to the DP, I thought the DP itself was punched/endorsed when you cashed in each component and picked up your bits and pieces, hence I wasn’t sure the days. Makes sense now. Thanks.
  9. Friday. It’s the Sunday I was after. Thanks though.
  10. Hi, I’m trying to order a DP for a Jason but the only day available to choose for the included photo is Friday, however I’m only at the show on the Sunday, and there are still standard Sunday photo ops available with Jason in the shop. I’m confused.
  11. Thanks for this. I see there’s an area marked up as ‘Merchandise’ will this be LFCC branded merch or Is this where the pass holders collect their extra bits from? Also, I can’t read the orange text on the ground floor plan, does it say ‘authentication service’ if so, what’s that about?
  12. Is there a way to upgrade a standard photo included with the Sam Neill diamond pass to a green screen photo instead?
  13. Hi there, Have these now sold out or are further batches available? The online shop says out of stock, however I can't see any warning having been posted so I'm just wondering if there are any more to be released. Many thanks
  14. Hi there, Sorry if already answered but I can't see it other than in relation to Pele, which is a different situation. My query is whether Diamond Pass holders can purchase additional signatures at the same time as getting their one included autograph, or do you need to do this on two separate visits? Many thanks.
  15. Everyone was fabulous and a great pleasure to meet. My overall vote has to go to Jeffrey Weissman as he was so so friendly, spent a long time chatting to each guest, and then apologising to the following one as his line was building, but he made everyone feel special. He even invited people to come back for a further chat later. He was on our side of the table a lot of the time, and always for photo's. He was genuinely choked up by all the BTTF love being spread around yesterday and he wasn't afraid to show it. An absolutely fabulous bloke.
  16. I'm really sorry I missed this guys, I had every intention of coming along but at 1pm things were getting pretty calamitous in the area where I was and by the time I got there it was way over. Great photo though. Did you guys get your boards signed?
  17. Phil is funny, enthusiastic, full of energy and life, but above all else he is fair and if you listen to what he actually says, all goes very smoothly indeed. Top bloke.
  18. Whoever was managing John Ratzenberger's queue yesterday was awesome! Despite being generally very lovely, she could see I was a bit laden up with baggage and so she took charge of my Hoverboard case for a while whilst I was faffing about getting my money together etc. she held onto it for ages, and it was really appreciated. She was great as for John's actual assistant (whom I'm guessing he brought with him?) he was also great. He noticed a mark on the photo I had picked up from the desk (I didn't even notice it), tried to wipe it off with his sleeve, and then gestured to me to wait a sec whilst he got up, went to the desk and picked up another one for me! What a guy! I was behind a girl who I think was probably a bit nervous about meeting John, but wanted to chat for quite a while, and in the end the assistant politely moved things on (there was a fairly long line). I think this was a good idea at that point as she was asking him if he does different voices in his different films?! Not the best indicator that you are a fan if that's your question, and his answer was like 'well, yeah..... of course' She went to shake his right hand, which he had all strapped up and he extended his finger to kind of link-shake. She then said, shall I shake your left hand, and he was like, no it's fine
  19. Hi there, just wondered how many autographs Michael is getting through in his slots up to yet? Are we still on track with the published timings? If anyone has met him, what was he like, hope you had a blast, please share any experiences and photos! See you tomorrow!
