  1. Are they the semi rigid ones that only open a the top? If so I'd suggest you really make sure the sig is dry before putting them in as they are quite narrow and don't have a lot of space in to let stuff dry.
  2. At the event I have a small rigid plastic case that I pop all my photos and signed 8x10's in. When I get home they go in Ultra Pro pages in a folder. I wouldn't use plastic wallets at the show as they can still bend. Ideally you really need something fairly rigid.
  3. There will be a designated area, maybe the info booth.
  4. You know we do have a Stargate guest already?
  5. Best thing to do is if you can have a look at the 8x10's they have available then you can decide, you might see one you love.
  6. Whether people agree with the reasons for it or not it's against the terms and conditions that people agreed to when they bought their tickets. They are effectively breaching their contract with SM.
  7. It has been said repeatedly that last years situation won't happen again, hence the cap on ticket sales and it's at a new venue.
  8. tickets that haven't sold out should be available to purchase on the day.
  9. They are usually in different area's but as this is a new venue we will have to wait and see.
  10. With regard to No 1, all ticket companies charge a fee for booking whether it be for the theatre, a gig, the cinema ect these days - there isn't anything we can do about this unfortunately. The fee currently applies for each booking you make, so if you make a lot of separate purchases you have to pay the fee each time. Unfortunately it really does come down to the fact that if you want to go to the show you pay the booking fee or you don't and you don't go. There is a 3rd option that you hope they have tickets for photo ops on sale on the day if they haven't sold out, but you run the risk of not getting one at all if the guest does sell out.
  11. He could buy a Gold ticket (but they would need one each) if they are still available but otherwise I believe the current advise is that he will have to contact the shop for a refund. Tickets aren't transferable and they are sold out for entry.
  12. Great news the event has sold out (should make for an excellent atmosphere), but I think you are right, I can see a lot of people turning up on Saturday and Sunday expecting to get in without tickets. Agreed. I think that will mostly come from the younger crowd who cosplay or those who come across the adverts in newspapers. In fact, will Showmasters still pay for advertisements with just Friday available? Adverts can be placed quite a long time in advance depending on the requirements of the publication so It's not always possible to get them changed to say sold out but hopefully they do say something about entry with ticket only and it needs to be pre bought so if people do turn up they can only blame themselves.
  13. Attendance figures won't be given to us. They won't have sold more than they can have legally in the venue.
  14. I've ordered comics from the US and had screen worn costumes delivered in the past to the UK and from what I remember it was pretty random what got charges on and what didn't. I'd say that you should factor in having to pay customs charges on anything you buy and then if you don't get charged great, and if you do you factored it in.
  15. So it's like a long term pre order. You pay each time they have a guest over the next 2 years and at the end you get a print signed by a heck of a lot of the cast.
  16. I haven't heard or seen those before. I've looked them up and they certainly look interesting.
  17. We all seem to have had quite different experiences with all the different colours I used the bronze for the first time at Sherlocked and it was fine on my items.
  18. I know one of the halls has a Pizza Express in it but whether we will be in there and if it will be open who knows. I imagine it would be open though as it not like it's a small event.
  19. You've got is sorted, you can just regurgitate yesterdays lunch and chew that again.
  20. Let's hope the forum doesn't crash for half an hour again like last time
  21. It's a regular normal photograph, not hardback, size wise it's 8X10. Not sure if they are matt or glossy but I think it's a combination.
  22. Not sure what else they could announce for this though. Unless they have managed to get hold of that new hover board that's been cropping up on line for everyone to have a go on.
