I've also been going to showmasters events for years and wasnt sure how things would go. I felt the event ran very well for the first time at a new venue. I came along on the Saturday at about 11.30 on the free bus (I think this was a fantastic service). I got a VQ ticket for everyone i wanted to meet and then joined the Leonard Nimoy photo shoot Queue. So after arriving pretty much midday, i spent 4-5 hours at the event, had the ability to get the autos of anyone (bar Leonard Nimoy and Ben Browder), I got my 3 photo shoots done and had a great time looking through all the vendor stalls. I think this event had the most costumes i'd seen for a while at a MK event. There was a great Alien + Predator going round, Storm Troopers with Vader, Spiderman, R2-D2 and BS Galatica Cylons and loads of other people in cosplay giving it the convention feel. Food in the Stadium was regular expensive footy fast food, but with an ASDA next door or IKEA one more along this wasnt a problem. Most peoples major complaint seemed to be about the weather, which no-one can control! This was still Collectormania Verdict: I think with a major guest again and the Sun on their side, the Dons stadium will be the perfect place for another great event.

I wont be there till the Sat, but i know its the first day of the Irish Music Festival there. could be fun Theres normally free stand up at Mother Macs on a friday also, google it up!

I think its because the writers strike is over, this has meant a lot of guest who had spare time are now able to return to work.

I'd still like a Lord of the Rings one. I know popularity is dropping and the another show idea failed, but i believe it would be more popular than many of the shows listed

I was watching on a live stream on the net, so funny when croatia was drawn, everyone started laughing. I think its actually one of the best possible draws for us, i think Croatia and Greece were the weakest of the top seeded teams. Its a chance for revenge and to prove England can be a top team. Just what the doctor ordered
