  1. Jason posted on FB that he hopes today, but I’m not sure if send ins are going to be included. Will have to wait and see.
  2. Hmmm... point noted. I had an inkling the S (or L) word was going to get mentioned. So first, an apology. Although I wasn’t expecting such a stern response, although I’m astute enough to realise why, even though I don’t think I warranted it. Be glad I’m not John as a moderator elsewhere, I know your job must be way harder than mine with the popularity, but that still doesn’t prevent people not getting pissed at you. As said, I’m not that person either because I’ve seen both sides. On a related note, even though it’s not the forum, someone might want to have a trawl through the Facebook feedback thread for the event, as there are some horrendous things being said there, especially about one particular guest’s handler.
  3. Use Flickr, free account, and you can create albums for groups of photos. Oh look, here’s the one I made for LFCC
  4. Although serious question QS, given I deliberately went into absolutely no specifics... what is the difference between me posting about what one professional actor had to think about another professional actor, and everyone here who has attended the show and has less than nice things to say about meeting a particular guest?
  5. Yeah was going to say same... sucks if you have lost them, but at least you can hopefully still get digital versions. Unlike if you lost autographs...
  6. If I'd seen him, I would have gone up to him and said "Good moaning!"
  7. Considering I’ve had lots of cards signed with gold Sharpie, I’d more suggest the medium being signed was also a factor
  8. Except some of us don't do Twitter (I certainly have no intention). Some people don't do social media at all. Should be a solution that doesn't require it.
  9. Ray Park was using paint markers on some of his prints, but that's the only person I saw, everyone else I got autographs from used Sharpies.
  10. He wasn’t. There were just obvious snafu with getting stuff on Eventbrite for the demand...
  11. Better than rubbing the Vaseline elsewhere...!
  12. Yeah, it did come out after the show she’d been nursing a broken rib, but at the time it did rub more than a few people up the wrong way...
  13. Yes, it appears from some comments in other threads, some of the blue shirt staff didn't know this either! For guests that are there for more than one day: if there's a talk, it's at the time designated. When you buy your DP, you choose the day you want the photoshoot (which is the day you see ON the pass). But you are allowed (and it is expected) that you can get the autograph on any of the days valid. If you don't get it one day, you still have another day, and that is explained in T&C when buying, even if you personally can only make the show for one day. If that's the case, buy early and get a low DP number!
  14. ^ this, which is why some send in services refuse home made prints as well.
  15. At a certain other show I can't mention, they often get the people queueing to hold signs to show where the end of the line was, if it was cut off currently, the state of play with number of people already in line and so on.
  16. You also have to remember, if you were in the normal hall H queue, that Gold Pass members get in first as well, so they probably contributed to the high VQ number you were handed. Who was the guest in question btw?
  17. If I'd made it Sunday, I would have chatting more Duck Tales with David rather than Who hah hah...
  18. They will eventually get uploaded, but I believe they are not free to download. The photo shoot price just gets you the print out.
  19. I did have a suspicion it would be very difficult to get them all done today sadly...
  20. Yeah you have to upload to external site first to link here
  21. Have to say, I'm surprised, but then again, late announcement and everyone is trying to also see all the other Doctors heh...
  22. Yeah, have to second what people saying about Ray Park, I'd met him previously but he was allowed to be a lot more "free form" and chatty here, and the topics just went from one to another as each person (and the people immediately behind them) got to his desk. Hence the photos I took of him, as the poor staff member was trying to get the portable fan working in the heat, and he "buffed" himself up as Mark Henry approached his desk
  23. Definitely like the scroll and the eggs there!
  24. Can definitely concur, met Lance about ten years ago at a certain other show where he was giving a panel, and he stayed behind AFTER the panel to chat with people, sign autographs and have photos taken!
