With only a week to go till the Glasgow Con, I am really starting to get excited! Looking forward to seeing everyone's amazing cosplays! I've always wanted to do it but haven't yet and won't be able to this year. However, I love getting photos with y'all so hope you don't mind me asking over the weekend There has always been some amazing costumes, what cosplays will we see this year? The line up for guests and talks is amazing this year, thank you Showmasters! What is everyone most excited about? For me, it's probably the Sean Astin and James Marsters Talks, I love these and hearing about their careers and experiences. Always very interesting and normally a good laugh. Is anyone travelling to the con from any exotic places from outside Glasgow? The countdown has begun...

So who are you planning on meeting?
Vicky_Tait replied to Matthewman's topic in Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2016
My favourite guest going is Sean Astin, met him YEARS ago at collectormania in MK and he was so so lovely. Can't wait to meet him again and get a proper photo shoot this time. Also looking forward to meeting Ke Huy Quan, Peter Mayhew and Ray Park for my Goonies and Star Wars fixes And also the lovely James Marsters, met him last year in Brighton but one of my teenage crushes so can't not meet him again. Going to be an amazing and fun weekend! BRING. IT. ON!! -

Hey everyone! Getting very excited for next weekend! I'm wanting to go to the Robert Englund and Doctor Who talks but noticed you can't purchase tickets on eventbrite like you could for LFCC & I was wondering how it worked for Glasgow? Does anybody know? Thanks :)

This is the only guest so far I want to meet at the winter con but he is worth travelling from Glasgow for! -
I had reserved Russell Court Hotel for 4 nights but just looked at Hotel 65 & its half the price at £220. For anybody who stayed there this year was it ok?

Awesome Crew who are not Luke
Vicky_Tait replied to stijn171's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
All the crew did amazing, it's not easy handling crowds as large as the turnout at LFCC. They were all really helpful at every photo shoot I went to and want to say a HUGE thank you to them all! -
Post event thoughts of weekend from Showmasters
Vicky_Tait replied to showmasters's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I honestly had the best weekend ever and hardly had any problems. The first couple of hours on the Saturday was the hardest as I was trying to navigate my way around but once I had my bearings and knew where photoshoots etc were it was a lot easier. The hardest part was trying to squeeze through the crowds to get where you wanted to go. To all the people I accidentally hit with my hoverboard, I am so sorry! Having a gold and diamond passes for the guests I wanted, did make it ALOT easier and I would definitely buy again. Overall I thought the weekend was a HUGE success and I am buzzing about going again next summer! Can't wait for guest announcements! -
The Rose Leslie appreciation thread.
Vicky_Tait replied to josh-hammond's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I absolutely loved her, so smiley and made the effort to talk to everyone! So glad I got a photo with her and I hope she comes back to another con. -
I had such an amazing time this weekend! I don't have any complaints at all. My two days were full on with a lot of Photoshoots and clashes but the crew were great and helped me in any way they could, managed to get through them all without a hitch. I even managed time for a few autos which I didn't think I would have. All the BTTF talks were great and I still can't believe I met Michael J Fox! Christopher Lloyd was a sweetheart and Lea Thompson and Claudia Wells were both absolutely lovely. Infact all the guests were amazing and Robert Englund really made me laugh, he puts so much effort in. I have had the best time of my life this weekend and dreams came true, I can't thank showmasters enough! Going to the Glasgow con next month and can't wait! Thanks again to showmasters and all the crew for all your hard work! Amazing weekend!

MJF Autograph Help
Vicky_Tait replied to westwickproductions@hotmail.com's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I didn't managed to get mine either today and I'm number 273, I didn't hang about long as I had other Photoshoots to get too and decided to go on Sunday. I'm sure it'll be fine tomorrow :-) -
I have to agree, that guy was a legend. I was very impressed and liked Photoshoots on A because of the organisation. Especially when MJF was the chaos it was but it was handled very well. I wonder if he will have a voice tomorrow haha.

LFCC Talk and Photo Schedule
Vicky_Tait replied to Too Tall's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I have done it before with 5/10 minutes left of the shoot without issue was just a rush, I would consider leaving the talk a few minutes early though if it were me just to be safe, but that's just me. haha Is that allowed? I don't want MJF think he's boring me hahaha! I do have a few clashes but the others seem do-able (I hope) Yes it is allowed! I'm sure Michael will be fine with it! ok, was just asking. This set up of LFCC is new to me and I get embarrassed leaving anything while it's on and I didn't want to disrupt other people and the talk by leaving early. However, if it's normal & I have clashes I suppose I will have to. I'm sure you'll see others doing the same. P.S. We've all been there so feel free to ask anything you need to, the mods and myself are happy to help. Thanks, I really do appreciate the help :) -
