  1. My attendance is all dependent on whether I get a job in the not too distant future.
  2. No one has mentioned or even suggested any other events. It has only be discussed about Showmasters/Masive Events staging a Teen Wolf convention. That is because I edited a post and hid another apparently before you saw them. I left this reference because the hidden post was also wondering why the edited post was edited. Damn girl...you are making me look old and slow.......
  3. No one has mentioned or even suggested any other events. It has only be discussed about Showmasters/Masive Events staging a Teen Wolf convention.
  4. What you have said about some not being into events like these has been said about many guests who have now attended Showmasters and other events. Never say never.
  5. Like with any fan convention, with it not being part of a big franchise - and that never guarantees success - would a full weekend Teen Wolf themed convention be financially viable? Maybe getting along some of the cast to LFCC and CMMK to see if they have a good turn out to see those guests specifically. Then see if the numbers suggest a convention would work.
  6. Goldberg no longer wrestles, so this increases chances. Mick Foley is on a WWE Legends contract, but has done signings in the UK before. Lita is no longer an active wrestler and seems to be full time with her band. Steve Austin has no direct ties to the WWE, so another possible signer. As regards The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and Triple H, all three are WWE employees and thus highly unlikely to be able to do such signings like this. Several years back the WWE announced that they would be instigating a large number of Meet & Greet signings so that the WWE fans could meet them. Since then, these have happened at times of international tours and PR tours for upcoming events. I know there have been WWE contracted wrestlers at Showmasters before, but this was prior to the WWE taking over this aspect of it.
  7. Will cameras be allowed to record the commentary etc of the tour? It would be a personal memory, and not for public display.
  8. Hmm, seems to be a little misunderstanding here. I have just read the posts from Jason and it quite clearly states that the contract was being "put together" and details "should" be posted "tomorrow or the next day". At no time did Jason specify that the details "would" be posted "tomorrow or the next day", but "should". All Jason has done, as it appears to myself, is indicate that a posting of details should be forthcoming. At no point did I get the impression that it would be posted within the two days stated. It is a common thread on these forums for as long as I can remember that announcements are only made when contracts are signed. In this case, Jason has indicated that an unnamed host has verbally agreed to do the second Torchwood Tour, that the contract was being drawn up and that details should be posted within a couple of days. Has anyone considered that the unnamed host has yet to sign and return the contract to Jason, thus preventing the final details being posted?
  9. I don't believe that is what people were actually grumbling about - it was the lack of notice that tickets were going on sale. At least if everyone is given advanced warning, they can make other arrangements for someone to buy tickets on their behalf if need be. If tickets go on sale without any notice, especially during general business hours, of course people are going to be upset if they sell out before they even get home from work. I know I would be hugely disappointed in that instance. Just a quick question. What about those people who work shifts? I think the time of day the tickets go on sale is going to impact some people.
  10. Evan Bourne and R Truth are under WWE contracts, and the last I heard they did their own thing appearance wise. Edge is very busy TV wise, and also an expectant Father to be. Melina is sporadic on the wrestling scene at the moment. Following her departure from the WWE some promoters were vocal about not having her appear as she was asking too much money. I believe John Morrison is sporadically wrestling, but is working in several TV and film productions.
  11. I would actually meet him for his role as Malcolm Tucker in The Thick Of It
  12. I have jokingly said for weeks that it should be Malcolm Tucker...and low and behold it is!! Welcome to the universe Peter Capaldi
  13. Count me in for anyone from NCIS. I already have a checklist waiting to be checked off!!
  14. I know Mick does a lot of Stand Up tours, and has done stand up in the UK alongside a wrestling appearance (usually the WWE). I guess it is a case of when he is free to come over. Not sure of his schedule these days as his on screen duties as General Manager for WWE's Saturday Morning Slam are due to start again as new episodes start in a matter of weeks. I have heard that Mick is very fan friendly.
  15. Gail Kim is possible as she is in TNA at the moment. Edge I have previously pointed out is doing a lot of TV work and is an expectant Dad. Bret Hart does do signings, but his flying is much lesser these days due to his health issues. But he has been to the UK before. Rollerball Rocco was recently in the UK - he lives in Tenerife - as he has ties helping out at a British Wrestling Organisation.
  16. The rumour about the former Malcolm Tucker is that on his Wikipedia entry it had WHO Doctor. What people failed to see was that it was for his appearance in World War Z. If Capaldi was the new Doctor, it would be so much better in the Malcolm Tucker mode.
  17. Looking at the list: Trish Stratus - Not sure if she has given birth yet, but she would be due soon or have a new born. JerryLawler - With his current WWE contract, I would struggle to see this happening. Harley Race - Not sure his flying capabilities as his health has not been the best in recent years. Ricky Steamboat - the same as Jerry Lawler as he works for the WWE as a Road Agent and in nXt as a trainer. Kevin Nash - as of quite recently, Kevin Nash said he was planning a tour that included the UK. However, the tour will be him and Scott Hall. So, I am guessing he is waiting on Scott. Steve Austin - this guy never seems to stop working. A long shot, but never say never. Redneck Island is very popular in the States. Chris Jericho - currently touring with Fozzy until the end of the year. Shawn Micheals - Another one who seems to be endlessly working on his hunting show. He was due to come over, but the tour organisers mucked it up. Marc Mero - retired and a motivational speaker the last I heard. So, definitely a possibility. Ultimate Warrior - at the moment I would say it was 50:50. It all depends on if he signs a legends contract with the WWE.
  18. Mick Foley is known to come over to the UK quite often, but Edge is working a lot in TV and is soon to be a Dad.
  19. Aries cannot cash in as he dropped the title. And it is not Ultimate X as that is a match rather than a PPV. It is actually the Impact on July 18th which is being called Destination X. And, as the match has now been aired, Chris Sabin has decided to cash in the belt for the title shot. As regards who will win, it is hotly rumoured that Chris Sabin will indeed win the strap with the help of the newly formed Main Event Mafia 2.0 with Bully Ray winning the strap back at another special themed Impact nearer to Bound For Glory.
  20. I agree. I know of several "so called fans" who now make money from collecting autographs at premieres, stage doors etc but maintain they are true fans. Dealers are there to make money. True fans are there to meet "famous people". However, there is now an ever increasing combination of the two being found in individuals.
  21. If you don't know from the title then clearly you're not a fan, and shouldn't be queuing to take the potential space of a fan who'd like to go to this. A tad rude with that comment. Not every viewer will know the episode titles off by heart. Do you know every episode title of every show you watch and consider yourself a fan of to the extent you will know when asked?
  22. For me personally I feel visiting a grave is something that should be kept to family and friends who wish to pay their respects. To visit the grave as a fan is something I just cannot seem to get my head around. And taking photos is just plain weird. I have taken part in remembrance services and processions at cenotaphs due to my family having strong military ties, but that is about it as regards visiting the graves of people I do not know. Someone mentioned Graceland, but I can honestly say that I would never view the grave of Elvis but would happily look at any memorabilia about him. I think the only time I would visit a grave of someone I did not know, or had met, would be if I was tracing the Family tree as GoldenGreen has mentioned above. And only if it had been proven that the person buried there was a relative. Also, noting something GoldenGreen had also said above, for so called fans to desecrate the resting place of an idol' and even the surrounding resting places as in the case of Jim Morrison, I find that absolutely unforgivable.
