  1. I attended both days with my mum, who gets about with a wheelchair, on the Saturday, she stayed in hotel while I joined the early queues, joined at 8.30 got in around 9.30, but achieved all the autographs bar Brian Blessed by around 10.30, Having the two Mandalorian actors right by the entrance was a bizarre move being how busy they were. Was back having lunch and a drink with my mum by 11.30 and just watched the last of the queue enter before we made our way back into the venue. Sunday we had same plan, I was in by 9.15, and had all the autographs I needed bar Craig Charles by 10am, whatever happened there one day we may know the truth but suffice to say refunds have been very prompt. Highlights of Sunday have to be the Lux trio, very chatty and very enthusiastic about their time on Doctor Who But all in all, managed more autographs this year than last three combined, and that included spending time chatting to them all, so for me it was a great weekend, I suppose it helped I didnt have any of the big guests bar Varada, so apart from Brian Blessed I had no real queues to contend with. And the most important thing for me was my mum enjoyed the weekend as well, which I was dreading she would find it too stressful

  2. I only attended sunday. I got into LFCC just after 11:30, no queue just bag check. Then i orientated myself with where the guests were and where at least one of the photoshoot areas were. ( i would find photoshoot b about a couple of hours later while wandering about.) Went to the photoshoot for Katy Manning. I Also grabbed my Ariyon Bakare Autographs and a little bit of a chat. I then Headed out for food, came back and there was hand written VQ tickets for Katy (there was a long queue that happened after the photoshoot), so i grabbed one and went wandering and periodically checking in. Got to see Katy a few minutes befor i was due to be at photoshoot b for my other photo ( which was close by). I left as soon as i was done with photos. She seems really lovely and takes a decent amount of time with people seeing her. Also thanks to the guy who was behind me that took photos at the desk (dont know if hes on here) and thanks also for the complement on my phones camera. Highlight was meeting Katy and Ariyon. The only bad thing was when i was trying to let people past in a crowded part at the side of the hall, someone barged past between me and the group. But appart from that i had a good time. I generally these days tend to avoid saturdays as there too chaotic.

  4. Katy is an absolute diamond, she was hugging everyone she passed on the way to her table asking if they were enjoying the show

  6. I attended both days, Saturday was very Busy and took me an Hour to get in to the venue, It was straight over to Mel Gibson photo shoot and it was very much empty having Batch 2 ticket I was told just go in as there was little queue. Mel was great, Shook my hand and said hello. He did look a little jet lagged. Hats off to the crews in Photo shoot A on Saturday that did a great job (I had a few clashes which they helped out with) The Guests were great and very chatty and many of them seemed to be happy to be there. Using a small area was bit of pain, It was very crowded and everything seemed to be all over the place. The Talk area was pretty poor, I couldn't hear the guests as it appears people were walking through behind the seats and people chatting at the ends of the talk area, Ideally the talks need to be in a room or in a better location, maybe next year when the work is done, this might happen. I missed the Friday, we need the Friday date back. you can get so much done on Friday. I am liking how Showmasters are slowly learning to put all the 5 minute guests photo shoots all in one photo area, it makes a lot more sense that you don't have to rush from one area to another. Sunday was a lot more easier and again hats off to the Crew in Photo Shoot B. Area was run so smoothly, How they should be run. Guests were great. Kevin O'Brien (Friday the 13th Part 3) was so funny, His photo at his Signing desk showed he had been in a lot of Tv Series including Blakes 7 and Doctor Who. His Selection on his table were just mainly Friday the 13th. I asked if he was in Blakes 7? to which he replied He wasn't and his IMBD was mixed in with another Kevin O'Brien. I settled for a Friday 13th Picture. Jeryl Prescott was such a lovely lady and her Auto was amazing and wonderful, She was adding different quotes on the photos. Overall I did around 30 photos and 30 Autos. it was a good weekend. Every guest I met was great and made the event worth while. Here's to next year..
