Moderators DavidB Posted March 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2015 Judging on previous return guests it doesn't normally happen that quickly or to the same place, especially international ones. But who knows :-)

But who knows :-) guests such as kenny baker and david prowse go to everything! michael has expressed an interest and desire to come back for LFCC in july. surely it cant be a bad thing for a guest to WANT to come back
Queen_Sindel
Kenny Baker and Dave Prowse are friends of the organisers and are pretty much considered family. If there's any exceptions from the usual rules it's those two. Plus they're local guests from the UK. Overseas guests require way more organisation than Kenny and Dave appearing. If overseas guests appear at back to back shows it's normally because they're in the country filming. No one is saying Michael will never be invited back. But it's normal to have a break between appearances, and those breaks are normally longer than from the winter to the summer shows. Give fans the time to find new pictures they want autographed and such, and other fans get time to actually get watching The Walking Dead.
josh-hammond
just seems silly having a guest from one of the biggest shows on tv at the moment who wants to come back and not attempting to get him over here.
Moderators DavidB Posted March 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2015 A lot of guests would happily come back. They enjoy meeting their fans and have a good time at the conventions. However in terms of the organisers having to pay for the guests to attend, and other expenses on top of that, unless it's someone HUGE that will be guaranteed to make back money every time, it's diminishing returns every time they come back in a short space of time. So as QS says - it makes sense to give them a break and give people new things to get signed etc, new fans to find the show and the events, or perhaps a guest would get a new role or something like that. It has to make financial sense.

josh-hammond
The guy was awesome and yes he did have queues. I would love to see him again hells yeah, rosie! he may not be a "big name" when compared to some guests but he is definitely one of my favourites. any guest who got involved on the forum beforehand to chat with people going to the con is awesome in my book! would rather have him than have someone who WANTS to come back than end up getting another jettgate. because planned guests cancel or the deal falls through
Moderators DavidB Posted March 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2015 I met the guy myself and think he's fantastic but from a business point of view, I understand how Showmasters approach getting the guests. Obviously me and QS don't actually know what guests SM are getting, but it's the general way they operate and it does make sense :)

Starbug
that's the problem we don't get enough of The Walking Dead guests I am hoping that LFACC 2015 will have plenty of them and having Emilly there is a good start I am hoping that Chad Coleman will be one of them
Moderators DavidB Posted March 4, 2015 Moderators Share Posted March 4, 2015 There's a regular stream of TWD guests which is more than you can say for a lot of popular shows :)
