Hi! I thought I would create a new topic so that everyone can say what ticket number they got for the Twilight talk now that most of us have received it!

I'll do as someone else did for LFCC, I'll edit each time there is a new answer so that a list can be made.

 

So, I'll begin!

My ticket numbers are 9 & 10 :D

 

so we should be sitting next to each other :(

 

 

:P hi, it will be nice to get to know a few people at the twilight talk as im going to ET3 next year and have not been to a Twilight con before.

 

I'm also going to ET3, never been before but did go to the Prom.

It was just a general question whether guests could still be announced at this stage.

 

But how can they not say if there is a last minute guest (whether thats this week or two days before, whenever...) if they want to sell tickets for photo ops etc at some point if there was another guest they wud have to say...

Not really because they can always sell on the day.

 

Plus sometimes a guests dosnt say yes till a few days before, therefore making selling tickets before-hand moot as they wouldnt turn up in the post, meaning you would have to pick them up on the day, meaning you might aswell buy them on the day.

Indeed. It's not a case of "ok, we've got this guest, but we're going to deliberately not announce them" or anything. They announce when the contracts are finalised, which may well not be far in advance of the event itself.

 

Whatever happens, I'm sure a Twilight guest would sell a lot of tickets regardless of when they're signed up. Obviously Showmasters know that advertising in advance would be benefitial, but it's not always possible.
