I agree, practice definitely makes perfect!!! I have some shocking stuff on deviantART from a couple of years ago :S

I just had my 1 year DA birthday ! :D

Wow, you have done a lot in two years! You should be really proud!

Well, you can say next to Rhis stuff, but that is not the same as close up! Yours is fab! REALLY don't knock it!

I am a complete coward and only draw in A4 (cos I can also fit it all in the draw safe n sound) and just haven't got the time to do 50 hour drawings like my friends do.

I did hear that a lot of people on DA draw on A3 so that when it is scanned and shrunk down to A4 size, the details look sharper! Think thats slightly cheating! So I just give myself a headache trying to do the details on A4 :D

I know you can say anyone can draw but I seriously can't lol :D

I'm thinking the exactly same thing!!! Although I'll try at least, I trust Rhi :D

See in my family my sister and my mum are the artistic ones, I've never really tried or been half decent at it so I stuck to stuff I was good at.....maths wow exciting lol

They say that there is art for everyone.

Perhaps you are trying to draw in the wrong style

A lot of people find they can draw cartoons, but not photo real or vice versa

Lots of people on DA say they can't draw animals.

Some people are great with colour (I most certainly am not!)

Just have a play in different styles, you could be pleasantly suprised!

Okay, so he will kill me for doing this!

But Kieran has just started GCSE art (he is 14) - most of you met them at the Brum Prom!

Well, he has always steered clear of portrait drawing, never really tried it, says it is too hard.

They had to do it in class last week, and he came home with this.

It is very much in its unfinished state, but I am so proud of him, just wanted to show you guys!

(You'll have to rotate it to view, my fault!)
